  2. Wow, since ive started driving at age 17 till now(20) i haven't gotten a single ticket. Though i did get pulled over at like 4am on the freeway doing 110 or so in my Audi A8, V8's for the win, but in the end they just talked a bit with me and then let me go... thank you for that. But i also drove the 240z pretty wild, doing burnouts from lights and general reving of the enigne, i would get looks from cops as im doing like 10-20 over and they would just let me go... those cops can be real dicks but dont know why they liked me.
  3. Sorry to revive a long dead thread, but i was wondering what size the tach and speedo are? VEI says on their website that all they have is 3 3/8" tach. If it is the 3 3/8" then how did you mount them? Custom mount?

  9. Ok from driving on Highway 9 atleast once a day for a year, that is not highway 9. it never gets that small, but i could be some of the side roads off of skyline blvd, i grew up within a 5 mile range from highway 9 for most of my life, its a awsome road that i test all my vehicles on!

  11. just from reading that pdf i can tell its gonna require alot of money and work to change the cam for that, since there isnt a conventional cam. it uses eccentric shafts with rockers to adjust the valve lift and duration.

  15. i actualy have 2 E31 heads, one on my 240z and the other in my garage. the one in the garage has a small crack in one cylinder though. im pretty sure bother are stock other then the cam in my 240z.
  16. wow, on the test track it was .2 seconds away from the ariel atom........ that is unbelievable! Think about that, the GTR weighs 3800#'s and the atom weigs 1400, thats a feat of engineering there!
  17. haha your car will never be a sleeper! But most modern day cars use 2 mufflers to keep the noise down, so i think it would work pretty well.

  22. What about the modular Ford V8? All you would need is the crank and rods to lower the stroke and you have a engine that can easily rev to 8500 RPM and have the sound of the Italian V8's.
