    Check all your electrical connections in the engine bay, probably just forgot to plug in a wire or 2.

    I love my Toyo Proxe 4 i have on my Audi, 235/50/17. I really love the grip the Proxes series has, and so far the treatwear isnt too bad for a 300 rated tire. Oh and newer tires make a big difference.

    HAHA, number 7 caught me off guard then i realized he did infact have a pink cage. I can understand your feeling that the drivers in the race know full well the danger of racing. I would just hope those that race know better then to do this. Street driving =/= race driving.

    Saw this video on a Audi forum i visit and they were responding to this like this guy was a badass who deserved respect, personally i think he's insane and shouldn't be allowed to race when he does sh*t like this...

    I just restored my series 1 steering wheel and it turned out great, other then i got a brush bristle stuck in the stain and so there is a little ridge at one part. It small and barely noticeable, haven't decided if im gonna go back and sand it and re stain it. I will upload a picture later so you can see how it turned out, but it really wasnt that hard.

    Well Gollum, i have 2 carb manifolds and 1 SU carb. Yes 1. The carb is unknown condition but its probably repairable if broke. I'd sell them to you for pretty cheap.

    I am seriously considering having Merit badges made, possibly a skull and crossbones with the crossbones being spindle pins and maybe "REMEMBER" below that. Everyone who has done a spindle pin deserves one.

    Um, i believe its only the GRP series that's discontinued, there is still prices listed under the other materials. You should give them a call and double check.

    I finally managed to get the last two top bolts for the dash and tried again in vein to get the gland nut off the strut housing. Got the other one off, but this one is really rusted and is being difficult, not to say i was surprised when i got the first open and saw the original strut cartridge.... 128K miles, and the original suspension... ya it needs refreshing.

    This is what my 240z with the modified engine from the previous owner feels like, once i hit 5000 according to the tach and speedo(calculated based on speed on known driveline) it feels like it hit a brick wall and completely runs out of juice.

    Is this not a bad idea, since the balancer is a pressed fit with a key might this cause problems with the balancer moving at speeds?

    I am just going to take a guess here, if you read the casting number on the bottom side of the head, it reads N47 right? In that case you most likely have a somewhere in the range of 10:1 compression ratio which would cause the lean condition but its weird that it is only on 2 of the cylinders. If its not a N47 then it probably has to do with oiling of those lobes, check the oil passages.

    Very interesting, how accurate would the reading the distributor be since there is a lot of play in the mechanism? I remember TonyD or Johnc talking about that in another thread.
