Hold that thought chewie, i've got like 10 drawings here at work that I'm going to throw up here when I get home, so before you buy any paint, let me know what you think. I'm kind of thinking that you'll need to ditch the flat orange basecoat regardless, it's really hard to do anything with it...

55psi of boost?! Let me know how that works out for you...I was actually referring to the static compression ration of the piston, like if you wanted it to be 8.0-1, 8.5-1, 9.0-1 and so on. If you are using flat top factory pistons, that would leave you with a high compression ratio depending on what components you were using them with, but if you are getting straight up aftermarket pistons, the manufacturer should be able to tell you what the CR is going to be with that piston.

Is it carbed, or does it have fuel injection? Not a foolproof indicator, but 75+ 280's should have come with fuel injection. You might have gotten classed with the 260's since your bumpers are off. That's one of the biggest visual cues as to what model you are dealing with. *edit* cool wheels by the way.

I saw one in an old magazine with a rotary engine in it. That was pretty cool.

I think you're right, the stance is really what's killing it. It looks like he's got one of those 100lbs home-made speaker boxes in the back weighing it down. I think his mirrors are super cool actually.

Depends on the compression I guess....If you're doing aftermarket pistons, usually you have a choice of compression ratios. I've heard people say all things being equal, dish is better for turbo, supposedly it concentrates the combustion event into the piston, but that's just what I've heard.

the second one looks like a different piece. Look at the corner lights, they are totally different in shape and location.

Nice orange line on the wheels, really nice touch. So when are we doing the camo? I think doing it white, black, and safety orange with the original rust-oxide orange as the base color.

Looks like a gasser sitting so high in the front like that...I don't know about that swap, I saw the extreme talon back when it was the world's fastest unibody, and there is something to be said for a car that did an 8-flat awd to beat out that jerk-off Chris Rado in what was at the time the world's fastest integra...

Does that second one really count as a g-nose? It looks a lot like the factory front end, just without the bumper. It does look much better though. Part of that is from the headlight covers I think.

have you tried running a search for "louvers"? I wasn't too clear, are you planning to use these to vent the air out of the wheel wells like on the superbird, or are you going to use these to induct air into the cabin? Or just for show? this is a top view of the saturn sky. Those vents in the hood aren't true vents though, but they are available seperate from the hood. I can get them cheap since I work at a saturn dealership in parts, so I may order some for myself. PM me and I can tell you more about the price/availability if you want them.
