  2. Thats it, my father / son z-car build is gonna be a rally car!
  3. No need to section...just make a spacer...and btw..tokico no longer makes the rear struts, all they do is put a spacer on it and change the part number
  4. Congrats, and yes...do start collecting parts for the father son build. I started collecting parts while my wife was still pregnant, and have almost everything I need to start building his car except the actual shell.
  5. Oh, and it can be used with Webers, Dellorto, Mikuni, and Solex carbs and ITBs that have the same mount pattern
  6. Mangolesti http://www.dellorto.com/merchandise/products_details.asp?PartNo=M4700&CategoryID=8&PartsectionID=46

  8. SWEET, thats only a 6hr drive from here...

  10. Agreed, forget the herculiner and just use the rustbullet...thats what i did
  11. It depends on which Webers you have...IE 40DCOE18 or 40DCOE151 etc. Also, are you deadheading the fuel to the carbs?
  12. Right on Tony! Ron will also tell you all about ZDDP, and what brands of oil and or suppliments to use

  14. Well they came in today...PN 38228-21000 Bolt Fix D/S and they are the correct ones. Eveybody make note of that part number
  15. Well thw weather is beautiful today, so I took it for a spin. First thing I noticed, no more one wheel spin when leaving the neighborhood. Second thing I noticed, with the R/T snubber mount, I get a little more noise in the cabin. It is to be expected as I now have the diff "riding" on poly all around. I did notice a very slight gear whine on drive...probably normal gear noise amplified by the poly snubber. So far I love it
  16. FYI...I just ordered 8ea p/n 38228-2100 from nissanparts.cc and they have shipped. That P/N is in chapter 5 page G-8 item 34 of the factory fiche.
  17. I think you are asking why I did not just install the entire subi diff. Well, I have a 4.11 gearset that works perfectly with my tire size and trans for Auto-X, and I could get a Torsen lsd unit alone for about half the price af a full diff.
  18. Like I said..once you install it in the car, I think you will find that it will tighten up just fine. If it does not tighten up..then maybe they are too long, but you cannot make that determination until it is installed. The gap is there to allow for expansion when the clamps are tightened down.
  19. Check the junkyards or Car-Part.com and look for a 200sx...they had a R-180 4.11 diff. Then you will need some adapted stub axles...oh look I have a set of those for sale.
  20. Nope...your good, install that puppy. Once it is installed, I think you will find that it tightens up just fine...just make sure to smear some teflon grease all over your polly bushings..inside and out..or they will squeak.
  21. Well I got my axles the other day, and have installed my Subi Torsen into my 4.11 R-180. Write up is here
