  5. Looking good Joe. At this rate, you may be able to drive it out and help me prep my car for the 2012 Auto-X Season...
  6. For as old as they are, those bearings look pretty good.
  7. Damn, if I still lived in Vancouver, I would take you up on that offer. Try hitting up Mortensen or Braap, they both live up near you.
  8. ZDayZ 2006 Tail of The Dragon MSA WCN 2008 Such a dirty little girl
  9. Well, the UPS brought me my goodie today....it looks terrific. Now I just need johnc to finish the subi adapters and I will be all set.
  10. Well, when I aint working on Helos (which aint often these days due to promotion) I am flying these on my computer.
  11. The theory of operation is the same, the tuning procedures are the same, but the actual parts used will be different. I would suggest you get the book "How to Build & Power Tune Weber & Dellorto DCOE & DHLA Carburettors"
  12. YES, that exact pump that I linked to is currently feeding my Isky Cammed, Triple Weber Fed, L-28
  13. Dammit, you wait until I move to get some cool **** that needs working on.
  14. I would not use that specific pump, the LOW side of the pressure range is on the HIGH side of what our carbs need. Mr Gasket may make one with the right specs though? The Facet I mentioned is quiet and reliable. Had mine mounted at the back of the car for 4yrs now... three of that was driving around Vegas in 120deg heat, after the Holley fried from the heat.
  15. One of the byproducts of all Hydro-Carbon combustion is...drum roll please...WATER. Until your exhaust gets hot, that water will transform from a gas (steam) to a liquid (water and water vapor). This liquid water will pick up all the carbon soot in your exhaust..esp carbed engines...and throw it out the back. What it does tell us, is that you have incomplete combustion during some part of your cycle...could be overly rich or not....my Dyno AFR's look pretty good..for making power, but I have a sooty tailpipe FWIW
