  1. Yep, they look identical to the belts I had in my 11/70 240Z. IIRC I sold mine on Ebay to some guy in portugal for quite a penny.
  2. IIRC, the bolt pattern is the same
  3. Welcome to The Peoples Socialist Republik of Kalifunny
  4. I am seeing this more and more lately. I dont know if this applies to you, but you cannot just remove the stock ballast resistor, you have to make a jumper to bypass it, otherwise, the ignition will only get power during the "start" phase. Hope this helps.
  5. Nice progression with the car, never thought of mounting the Coil Packs to the valve cover before. Are you gonna use a lonewolf intake for your N/A Build, or go with ITB's
  6. Thank GOD you and your son are safe, looks good so far...good luck with the rebuild.
  7. Man, when I saw this post, I thought you were looking for a Allison / Rolls Royce T-56 Turbo Prop
  8. OUCH, not the annoying key buzzer...
  9. You state that the idle is about 400rpm. If you are not making much oil press, and at 400rpm you are not, then the chain tensioner shoe will not extend enough, leading to....... The timing chain guides being worn erratically, which causes the rattle when the oil press is low. Short term fix, is to get the idle stable at 800-1000rpm when warm, and double check your oil level. Long term fix.....replace the timing set (chain, guides, tensioner, etc.)
  10. Yeah what he said Car looking good.
  11. Well, I would say your tire choice and size could be causing some of your problems. I would suggest a 225/60/14 until you decide to pony up for bigger wheels. The other issue at play (literally) could be the needle bearings in the steering column u-joints. If you have a bad joint, the car will feel very sloppy. Also ditto on the rear mount sway bar...the fromt mount ones really do suck
  12. Sheeit, mount that puppy right there on the block...that is too easy
  13. I am running a custom Isky grind, but anything around 490 lift 290 duration will easily get you where you want to be.
  14. Ummmm, the crank aint coming out while the block is in the car...you need to remove the engine first
  15. bah countersteer fail.....cones cones cones

  16. figure around 2 grand for a set of four.....and 225/50/15 fit just perfect on a 15x7.5
  17. Besides...they are approaching 40 years of use....might not be a bad idea to replace them..."just beacause"
