  1. I think it's because of your post count or join date. It's to prevent spammers from PMing tons of people.
  2. +1. I have never seen these. Also, I don't like it. Looks like a 240z with side skirts, big wheels and a GTR nose. Needs more creativity.
  3. Cool project! I'd love to do a first gen Mustang.
  4. My 280z is: - Faded flat black - Fresh flat black - White - The original brown - Orange - Blue - Primer - Other? My 240z is: - Silver - Army green - Black - Orange
  5. The license plate frame and center caps both look great. Will look even better when you get the center caps done in black like the license plate frame.
  6. Need a new roof? I have one in pretty good condition. I think there's just one small (dime sized) dent.
  7. If you read the explanation it was because it started the hot hatch trend in the US (or so they claim - I don't know). I agree, the Beetle is cooler than the Rabbit, but if what they say is true, you gotta give credit where it's due.
  8. I guess I should let you know that on HybridZ, using proper spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation is a rule. Run-on sentences, poor spelling, etc, makes posts hard to read.
  9. I see all that hard work in English honors is paying off
  10. I think the one on the spoiler is cool. Don't like the one on the hood.
  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA so many of those are true. (FWIW, I'm only 19) Except for the second to last one. My freezer has a light.
  12. If you get it restored, let us know how much it cost you and how it came out. I have a '72 dash in similar condition - good overall except for 1 small crack, and a few imperfections here and there.
  13. Why didn't you just swap all the turbo stuff onto the L28?
  14. Is it the green 260z? That's been for sale for a while now. I wouldn't touch it personally. Or is it the orange '72 240z? That one looks clean.
  15. Nope, looks closely. The flares are not as round, the front air dam is a completely different style, and it still has an L series with carbs.
  16. No, not at all. Which is why I would recommend spending the extra money to just get a shell from AZ/CA where nearly rust free cars are easily found.
  17. Yes, buying a clean shell for 3-4x the price will be easier AND cheaper in the long run than buying a rust bucket and fixing it.
  18. I think you should put in more LEDs - a lot more. I really doubt that I would be able to see them from a reasonable distance, unless they are significantly brighter than the picture shows. If you put them behind the grill, that would look cool. Wouldn't be able to see them unless they were on.
  19. Take a look: http://www.editgrid.com/user/mlwilliams/Z_Car_Registry
  20. That is easier said than done. I don't think anyone "just" tubes out the front. That takes a lot of a) time and skill or money. On the other hand, I agree. If he has the time/skills/money, I think that would be the best route.
  21. Well, what else are you gonna do? Let it sit in the garage so it can look pretty?
  22. Well, that's a pleasant thought... the serial killer is a Z enthusiast.
