Found this swap a while back. S2000 motor and gauge cluster in a KP61 Starlet. Looks like a fun ride.

According to the article it will have a 4.5L V8 good for about 430hp, 6-speed tranny with AWD.
I don't know if there is any truth to this but with the GT-R coming in 2007, this Z would have to be priced in the sub 45K range.
I have a feeling the guy who put the auction up is trying to raise the value of these things. There were only two people bidding on it and there were other taillights for auction at the same time for much cheaper. I got my euro taillights that are in better shape than those stock ones for half that price.
I'm gonna clean my good stockers up and post them after yours sells Jon.
I'm considering picking up an E36 M3 for a daily driver. Anyone know how these compare to a chiped 98-00 A4 1.8T Quattro as far as reliability and maintanence? I know the M3 is quicker but I'm wondering which one would be easier to maintain.
The Porsche styling traits are not coincidence. It was designed by an ex-Porsche designer.

I want to put an L28et in an old BMW 3.0cs. Doesn't really blend in though since you don't see many of them on the road.

I would recommend the street disc too if it's a daily driver. Change the clutch fork as cheap insurance. They are serious when they say heavy duty pressure plate.
