  1. Thats what I was thinking when I suggested the vortex generators. Try and keep the flow attached down the hatch to smooth the transition at the back of the car, reduce the exhaust fumes being sucked up from below the car, and reduce drag from flow seperation.
  2. Try adding a vortex generator to the back of the roof similar to the EVO MR. I've been wanting to experiment with this. It should create a vortex and keep flow attached down the hatch. There was a little bit of discussion on this in an ealier thread.
  3. I'm going to Shamrock vs. Gracie tomorrow in San Jose. Should be good.
  4. Same thing happens to me all the time. I always touch the door with my key to discharge before I close it.
  5. They have the black ones here. http://www.nissanparts.cc/catalog/?section=414 I may buy a pair just in case I can't find them later.
  6. Back to the original question, here is a pic of one of my Euro taillights. Not sure which countries got this style.
  7. Here's a pic of the g-nose I picked up this weekend. It has a BSR type airdam on it which is why I wanted it. Needs a lot of work because it has cracks and the PO cut it up to open the hood with the stock hinges. The car also has a fiberglass cowl hood and centerline wheels. I'm probably going to try and salvage the g-nose, keep the rear end and tranny, and part out the rest.
  8. Thanks for the files Zguy. I was able to open the IGES files with no problems. This will give me something play with.
  9. I figured that the previous owner probably hacked it up. Just wondered if it's fixable and if it's even worth getting. Never worked with fiberglass before. How much do you think a body shop would charge to fill the gap?
  10. I've read that a few people have had problems with a gap between the leading edge of the hood and the g-nose. Is this typical of most most fiberglass g-noses? If so, how hard would that be to fix. The g-nose I'm looking at has a 1" to 2" gap from the hood to the g-nose.
  11. Holy $@#*!! That looks like my old V8 Z. I bought a red drivers side fender for it before I sold it. Second time it's turned up since I sold her.

  13. I sold my 88T ECU, MAF, and chopper wheel for a little over a hundred last year.
  14. Here's a pic of my old car. You can see the built-in splash guard Trevor is talking about. It did have about a 1/2" rod as the edge. Previous owner did the work so I don't know the fab details.
  15. Just out of curiosity, how much does your credit score drop if you do a home refi or purchase a new home?
  16. Congratulations on the sale. It sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had to take 3 shots after I watched my turbo 240 drive off. The envelope full of cash helped too.
  17. I cancelled my sports package that includes speed channel because of all the nascar on there.
  18. Like I said in your other post...I hate you for beating me to it J/K
  19. The guys name is Doug Blandon. Like Davy said he is/was from Calgary, Canada. That guy had an original silver Scarab 280Z too. The black one inspired me a lot too. I loved that tilt front end.
  20. I have a stock P90A I'd trade for your N42. I'm in NorCal though.
