One of these days I'm gonna trade my pathfinder for a 6-speed 540i. Have you considered a GTI or an A4?

Just finished waxing after wetsanding and buffing all day yesterday. Came out excellent. Thanks to icice for bringing the buffer or I'd still be buffing by hand. The after picture is before waxing.

Finally we got a play making saftey. Gibson was a bust.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try this weekend. Is there a recommended rubbing compound to use? I'm just using the mothers stuff.

The paint on the car I just bought has some heavy oxidation and water spots on the hood, roof, and the top of the fenders. Is wetsanding the best way to clean this up or will rubbing compound be sufficient. I was going to use the following: 1) 1000 or 1500 grit? 2) rubbing compound 3) Meguires #2 4) Meguires #7 5) Wax Is this a good idea or should I skip the wetsanding. I tried rubbing compound on the corner of the cowl and it cleand it up a lot but you could still see a little bit of the water marks. picture of the oxidation corner of the cowl after rubbing compound

I wish they were wats. They are 15" rewinds. I'm eventually gonna put a g-nose on it.

Nice pickup. I know what you mean about driving a Z after a long layoff. Sold my last Z about 1 1/2 years ago. Picked up this '71 yesterday. Forgot how small S30s really are after driving my pathfinder for a year.

I saw that this morning. Looks like he dropped the price a little. He originally listed it for $1500. I actually took a look at one of his cars a couple months ago. I should offer him $600+50 for towing it from Fremont.

I've got a '78 280Z parts car I'll let go for cheap if you can tow it from San Jose. Suspension, 5-speed tranny, rear end is all there. Body is trashed.

Just going from memory (and my memory isn't very good), I think the dizzy send the signal to the ECU. Maybe the CAS is bad?
