  1. The guy I bought my old black Z from said he did the IC routing this way in his first turbo Z. I thought it was interesting but I never saw pictures of it.
  2. Glad you and the car made it okay. Good luck with the new venture.
  3. Thanks for putting it in there. Definitely valuable info.
  4. Warren I did read that on the SDS website months before my problem popped up and I planned on changing to Magnecor eventually. I put it off because I had no problems with the Taylors at 8psi when I was tunning. At 10 psi I started having problems however, the problem did not go away by just changing to Magnecor wires. I agree the wires were probably a big part of the problem but the plugs and timing made a difference too.
  5. Just to follow up on this thread in case anyone needs the info in the future. This is what I have done so far to eliminate this problem. I switched to Magnecor wires from Taylor and went one step colder on the plugs (BPR7ES). Lowered timing 1* from 26* to 25* at boost levels greater than 9psi. These changes seemed to have cleaned up the stumble but I have not taken the car past 5500rpm yet. The problem used to occur anywhere between 3000 and 4500 rpm. I still plan on changing the mount eventually since I still get the RPM err once in a while but it hasn't affected drivability.
  6. Someone please buy my g-nose http://classifieds.hybridz.org/showproduct.php?product=4771&cat=18
  7. I brought this up last month. Definately a car that has me intrigued. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123480&highlight=bmw+series
  8. Hades - I saw you over by Target on Coleman last week. I tried to catch up to catch up to you but you got on 87. I had a feeling your car was turbo swapped and was wondering if you were on this board
  9. Signed. I hope this channel is successfull. I need my rally fix
  10. Here's a vid I found with a L28et and a Borla XR-1
  11. Looks like a 350Z meets G35 meets pontiac. Not really ugly but doesn't inspire passion either. It's a safe design for Nissan.
  12. Here's Booboo the jumbo shih tzu.
  13. Start by cleaning all the electrical connections (AFM, injectors, ECU, etc.) That usually get the car running a lot smoother.
  14. Brilliant :icon14: I bet you were amped for a while. Love the sound of that F430.
  15. I don't run any leaner than stoich. Any higher than that I get the annoying intermitant stumble to.
  16. Nice and clean. Good job. What kind of paint did you use?
  17. Based on what you specified in your first post, I think you will be happy with the SDS system. No major learning curve, relatively easy to setup, good technical support. I'm running SDS and the only real complaint I have about it is no laptop interface. Keep an eye out for a used setup if you want to save some money. They usually go for about $800-$1000 for the full system.
  18. Afshin, good to hear you came out of the accident ok and that you're still modding the ZX. Always thought it was one of the cleanest S130s.
  19. Did you see the licence plate. It says HYBRIDZ
  20. I don't think the US is getting the hatch version. Not sure about Canada.
  21. The 335i weighs about 3550 lbs so I would guess close to 3000 lbs.
  22. I don't know if anyone has read about this car yet but it's looking like the second coming of the 2002. Obviously the styling is controversial and not for everyone but the 135i will sport the same twin turbo straight six from the 335 in a lighter chassis with 50/50 wieght distribution. 300 ft lbs at 1400 rpm . Vishnu is already talking +100whp and +126lb ft of torque with a chip for the 335i. http://www.motortrend.com/future/future_vehicles/112_0706_2008_bmw_1_series http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=523
  23. '71 Series One 240Z. L28et with standard mods. I'd like to eventually install my Thagard intake and new IC but it's been very reliable with the current setup and I'm enjoying driving it. Check the cardomain link for a few pics and specs.
