  1. I've been running 26* at 10psi on 91 octane. 36* off boost. AFR is right around 12.0
  2. Could it possibly be EMI interference screwing with MS. What kind of spark plug wires are you using? Just throwing out ideas.

  4. Suposedly the Z31 coil is supposed to be hotter than the l28et coil. Never saw any proof of it though.

  6. Thanks for the suggestion. I actually thought about switching to your mount already. I still haven't had the time yet to fully check thing out though. I planning on switching to magnecor wires too. Hopefully I can go through the engine in the next week or two.
  7. Wow ^^^. I was gonna say E30 with a latter M3 motor or SR20det but thats even better. My list of cars within reason would be a 914 with a STi motor, a 240Z with a turbo E36 M3 motor, and a LS7 FD RX-7 or the E30 above.

  9. Love the 540. I'd like to have one of those or a e36M3 as a daily driver soon. Right now I have a '99 pathfinder but I'll be trading it soon for a A4 Avant.

  11. Around the track it's usefull since they shift in a fraction of the time of a manual and they rev match perfectly on downshifts. Good in LA traffic too Supposedly, the GTR was faster around laguna seca than the 911 turbo.

  13. As is, wouldn't it just act like a bar inbetween the strut towers? edit: actually after looking at it, I guess it would be stiffer than just a strut bar because of the vertical components.
  14. I have a chance to pick up an Autopower roll bar for fairly cheap. It's the basic one with no diagnal, just the main hoop that mounts to the fender wells. Does it make sense to: a) add a diagnal to it, cut the rear mounts and re-locate them to the top of the strut towers, then add a bar across the strut towers leave the mounting how it is, add a diagnal from the main hoop to the top of one of the strut towers and a bar across the strut towers c) just get a rear strut tower bace like the PDK one for now and add a custom roll bar later down the road. This is for a mainly street driven turbo 240Z with occasional track days or autocrosses. I want to stiffen up the chassis a bit and have a good place to attach a harness.
  15. I just went through this and was told they are interchangable. I'm using the 70-78 hose with my T-5 and pathfinder slave.

  17. I'll check it out but this happens at lower RPMs too. If it's vibrating, wouldn't I get an error message other time besides just WOT?

    SDS help needed

    I started having problems with my car recently. I’ve been getting what feel like a fuel cut at full throttle. The car will lose power instantly throwing me forward, then resume driving normal when I back off. Sometimes I get a loud backfire too. Afterwards I get the RPM err displayed. When I reset it by pressing +10, the RPMs read normal. The car runs fine at partial and ¾ throttle under boost but not at full throttle. Any ideas what could be going on?
  19. Nice! Eventually I plan on ditching my small NPR IC for a similar vertical core setup.
  20. I would be interested in one. Maybe you can have the option of leaving off the 4 holes that bolt it to the chassis so it can be match drilled.
  21. I may be interested in a set of 16x8 and 16x9 with an offset for ZGs but it depends on the price.
