  1. I'll add my current setup for the benefit of future engine builders. Engine: Stock L28et (P90 head) Turbo: Stage III T3/T04B .57 trim .63 a/r Exhaust: 2.5†Scottie GNZ DP to 3†exhaust. Dynomaxx Muffler IC: small NPR Boost: 10psi I’m still tuning and this is mainly a street car so I need it to last. Eventually plan on running 15psi for the street. Boost starts at ~2500 rpm ECU: SDS EM3-F (Magnecor wires, NGK BPR7ES plugs gapped at .030ish) Injectors: Mercedes 420cc HP: Did a quick dyno run on a Dynojet before my car was shipped from CA to FL. I had a igntion miss so I never got a clean run. I got only 1 run to about 5000rpm and netted 241hp 272 ft lbs. This was at ~10psi on CA 91 octane. I didn't log boost. Overall I'm happy with this setup but of course I do have more mods planned.
  2. Upgrade to to Bosch connectors http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/injectors/connectors/index.html
  3. Ferrari started using those last year to extract the hot air and direct it under the car to help accelerate the airflow. Of coarse, everyone uses them now.
  4. I thought a windshield spoiler would benefit a S30 when I saw one on a PPI TT. I think one should be fabricated and tested.
  5. I'm considering picking up a '95 Civic VX because of the gas prices these days. 50+ MPG . Wife wants me to get a 'newer' car though.
  6. Nice numbers. More details on the car please
  7. I second looking into greyhound. I shipped a g-nose with an airdam attached from CA to TN for about $60. Packaging was a PITA though.
  8. S4 Avant. Nice interior, decent power, quattro and plenty of space for your trips to the snow. Chicks dig wagons
  9. Good stuff. I've only been here a month and I can relate to almost all of those either first hand or from stories people have told me.
  10. Yeah, I just transfered from Sunnyvale to ER. LM stock has done well the last few years which probably worked out pretty good for you. It was barely at 30 when I came in.
  11. Congratulations Scottie . You definately deserve it after 28 years. Now I just need Lockheed stock to go through the roof so I can retire early .
  12. evildky I'm in the same boat as you. I have a P90 on the engine now but have a spare P90a head I'm considering using when it's time for a rebuild. I know there is someone on this board that is in the 400hp range with the hydraulic lifters so I'm leaning towards using the P90a. I'm not looking to push more than 400hp. edit: Check with Doug71zt. He was running mid 11 quarter mile times with the hydraulic head.
  13. This was in Florida. The Miura was probably my favorite of the show. It was supposedly formerly owned by the shah of Iran.
  14. Took the family to the Celebration exotic car show this weekend and had a great time. There were a lot of high dollar cars there. Not just one Bugatti Veyron but three. Pictures make the car look bigger than it really is. The roofline is barely over my stomach. Anyways here are some pics. more pics here http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/240ZT/Celebration%20Exotic%20Car%20Show/?albumview=grid
  15. Changing the gas tank won't fix the problem. If there is enough fuel in there to feed the pickup, it will provide gas if you have an EFI pump.
  16. Not bad so far. Got here friday night just in time for the storm . I'm gonna have to fix my windshield wipers on my Z when it gets here. Never used them in Cali
  17. If you invest in a cheap set of wheels like konig rewinds or rota's and maybe fender mirrors, you may be able to get close to 4k for it. Maybe 5k if you include the magic word "JDM"
  18. Great to see that car still alive and kickin'. I found an old pic of your car courtesy of auxilary. I was trying to find a picture of your car with my old black 240ZT but I found my current car next to your car
  19. That looks like Shane selling those parts. He used to be a member here. I remember because I bought his Thagard intake and ARP studs back in 2005 or early 2006. I wanted the block but shipping was too much. $400 is a good deal for the work done to it.
  20. The problem is after I spend a whole day hitting it with a polisher it will look good but after a month or two the hard water spots will come back. It's getting to the point where the paint is getting thin at certain spots. I just don't have the time to polish the car every month with a infant son in the house. I'm gonna try and polish it one more time and use a good synthetic wax this time instead of carnuba. It's really not bothering me as much these days beacause I finally got my R/T mount installed and the car is running good.
  21. Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm looking forward to hitting up OSW soon in my mickey mouse suit
  22. Way to go DavyZ. Since I'm moving to the east coast, I may one day actually see it running
  23. I ended up getting a job promotion so I accepted it and will be relocating to Florida. It's hard to leave the SF Bay Area where my friends and family are but at the same time it will be a relief to have some breathing room financially. I'll be staying by cape canaveral for the first month or so but I'm not sure where I'll be staying long term. Possibly east Orlando. My Z will be shipped there so I'll probably see you Florida guys at local events.
