  1. Mike spent a bunch of time and $$$ on his LT1 and never got to 400rwhp. With a cam and a few minor mods, he has 400rwhp with the LS1....food for though. Plus, maybe the biggest factor od all....no Optispark!! Coilpack ignition is a much better option (LS1). I have the LT1 T56 in my Z, and it's a great engine, but for higher HP requirements, all I'm saying is that learn from others experience, and then decide. If I were to do it over, I would go LS1.
  2. It's a hell of a lot of work to get it clean enough to paint...all those little nooks and crannies (just like a thomas' english muffin ), just for something that no one will ever see!! Maybe just the bell housing?
  3. Yeah...but..but...uhh..well...we have the beach... Shut up guys!! You suck!!
  4. Hopefully Mike (Mas280) will chime in. He did tons of mods to his LT1, then went LS1 and with some minor mods is putting out a lot more ponies..... Maybe search through some of his posts....
  5. Shaved door handles/locks look way cool....esp. when they're real I used the Autoloc 35lb solenoids....
  6. Looks like two more BOVs on each side of the radiator too!!! That thing is wayyy insane!!!
  7. I have looked into that, but I hate not having any control or qa/qc on the items. At least if I'm sending the stuff out, I can inspect it before it is boxed. There were a couple of things that had to be sorted out with the last go around. Obviously those issues are transparent to you guys (as it should be), but I don't want to be involved with something that could potentially be problematic. Not saying that there would be problems using cafe press, but if there were, I would not want it said that something that I set up ended up being an abortion! If someone else wants to set things up with cafe press....have at it....I don't care either way...actually setting up all this apparel and packaging and shipping out is a HUGE pain in the rump, but I am willing to do it for all the Brutthas!
  8. T shirts are screened to keep the costs down. Besides embroidered shirts are usually very uncomforatble as the backing usually irritates the skin.....
  9. I will get some prices for a new sticker using the newer logo and tag line "Engineered to be Feared" I will also have a quote for T-shirts, similar to the old ones, but maybe I can offer different fabric colors (I will be using a local shop this time). I also can maybe offer different embroidered items, like caps, duffle bags, etc etc etc....I will see wha the shop can do and for what price. I have the embroidery design in digital format from the last shop, so set up fee should not be an issue. Historically average shipping charge via USPS priority mail for 1 cap and 1 shirt was about $5.25 Tim

    NICE CAR!

Hmmmm.....talk to John Coffey....I think that it was an Elise that used to spank his car all the time
  11. That is pretty darn cool!! Thanks for posting, Jon
  12. Hmmm.....I paid $1400 for my LT1/T56 from a 94 Z28, with all accessories and driveshaft.......just for reference....<95k miles
  13. Make sure all your alternator mounts are tight, and the pump pulley bolts are tight....
  14. Wags...it's probably bad Karma from having a Tenzo-R sticker on your toolbox! Sorry about the fire man....
  15. Where do you live? Are emissions a concern? If so then a crate motor is likely out of the question....
  16. I say wait another year or so, then find a wrecked Blue Devil Vette, and pull the drivetrain and transplant it!!
  17. Mike...I have no problem supplying what the masses want, however, there is some extra cost involved with a new design.....
  18. Stickers (background is clear, not white as it appears here): I think that they were ~ 6" x 4" Caps: Shirts: Front: Back: Maybe some of the guys who bought some of these can comment on how they liked them (or didn't like them)...... Tim
  19. If there is enough interest, I will do another run... Tim
