  1. I believe that after any machining, which will be difficult due to the heat treating/hardening, the part will need to be rehardened/heat treated.
  2. On a more serious note.....I've watched hives being 'disarmed', and it was done as simply as just very quietly and gently using a shop vac to suck them up. As long as you don't get too aggressive, you'll be ok. If you want to kill the bees that you've sucked up, leave the vac running and spray bug killer into teh nozzle Tim
  3. Splines are the same, but it appears that the grooves and shoulders are different..... Tim
  4. It could be: 1. 350 from 69 to 80. Could be either 2 bolt or 4 bolt mains. Drop the pan to see. 2. 302 from a 69 Z28 4 bolt 3. 327 truck engine Free is good!!
  5. Keep away and call a bee keeper, or exterminator. Are they the Africanized bees? If so, stay well away, they are very agressive!!!
  6. This has always tended to be a contentious topic, but if your clearances are correct, there is no need for break in period (except for cam break in..keeping rpms hich to feed it with fresh oil). Just drive it and have fun! Tim
  7. uhhhh...Europe maybe? Sorry, had to do it!
  8. Mine cost ~$110 for the pair, but they are full length...bit cheaper for shorties...I think that Jet Hot is a bit more pricey? Rewarder is local for me, so I didn't have to ship.....
  9. Fixed the image post (would have thought that you'd be able to link pictures by now!! ) Looks nice too!! and the pictures don't do it justice either...I know when I got my headers back from Rewarder, I was like...damn...are those the POS headers I built?! Cool dude! BTW, it's "Sterling"
  10. How full is your tank? Sounds like fuel is rushing away from the pick up on accelleration and recovering the pick up on braking.... Fill the tank up and try again...
  11. Hmmmm....that make me think....is your tank properly vented. pumping fuel out could be causing a vacuum and not allowing the fuel to flow to the pump. Try taking off your filler cap and see if it works better.....it's a place to start... Tim
  12. Either the pump is going out, or some crud is blocking the tank outlet.
  13. JC Mike! I wish I had such tough decisions to make!!
  14. I still think you're a sissy, but that should work well. Get a JY compressor, and some of the associated parts, then get some custom hoses made up. Tim
  15. Jeff....and anyone coming in from out of town, if you want to just hang out, my door is always open....PM me and I'll give you my phone number and we can just all hang out, drink beers and talk crap.... Tim
  16. It helps that the boss of the shop is my next door neighbor. He put his best guys on it. It could have actually been done quicker, but they were scared to work on the car unless he was there, and he was in Mexico from Friday to Monday.......
  17. Yes, you can get as much HP as you want, but it's gonna be easier, and cheaper with a 350. 300hp shouldn't be hard though...at the crank anyways....
  18. Just visited the car again. All painted, just waiting for sand and buff. I'll pick it up on Friday, which gives me all day Saturday to finish up some things! She looks fan-bloody-tastic!!
  19. Post in one forum only, please. Other post deleted.
  20. Since I'm not gonna bother signing up to post there, maybe you can advise: I see only 2 1/16th size gauges, but I would want 2 5/8 to match my other Ultra Lites....possible?
