  1. From his record files!! Why do you think he flunked out of Jr. High.....he is just too embarrased and changed the names on the papers Tim
  2. The wiring is NOT all that hard, just a bit daunting. Give it a bash.

    Q45 R230V ?

From 97 (or maybe even 98 ) on up the Q45 still uses the R230 VLSD, but the bolt up of the CV joints changed slightly. Instead of the bolt holes in the CV housings being tapped to accept the bolts (pre-98 ), the newer version uses nuts and bolts. Otherwise they appear to be unchanged. J30 is R200 VLSD, and is not interchangeable. Tim

  11. I've seen ZXs in better shape after sitting in the wrecking yards for months I would find a non running car with good body and swap the drivetrain over......but that's just me.....I don't see putting that much work into a ZX...they are just to available and cheap.
  12. Use the search function and ALL of your questions will likely be answered, or just browse through the Chevy V8 forum. Here is something to get you started. Bottom line: The V8 Conversion will not adversely effect handling as long as the heads and intake are aluminum, not cast iron: http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=2722&highlight=handling
  13. Also, the chevy drivetrain, headed up by the Vortec engine has gotten many awards and raves by the automotive press......

  15. The reconstructive surgeon has completed his surgery, now it's up to the cosmetologist to work his magic I am very hopeful that it will be there (MSA). I still need to do a BUNCH of electrical/mechanical work to her, so it looks like I'll likely be burning the midnight oil over the weekend, which will mean I have the car back, so I'll be happy to do it Tim
