I had my cut off switch mounted where the ashtray in the console used to be. Then I mounted the S2000 starter button where the cigarette lighter used to be.

3 days, while not impossible (nothing is impossible), is highly unlikely. You have exhaust issues, wiring issues, driveshaft fabrication, PCM reprogramming, fuel system upgrade, etc, etc. Putting the drivetrain in the car is quick and easy, it is all the ancillary stuff that takes a bunch of time. If you had someone helping you that had done the swap already, you may be able to do it in a week or two.

For the price of moving a mattress and box spring, why not just get a new one over there. Not knowing what you own, but given your small current space, and your current life circumstances (no kids, garage full of tools and toys etc), why take anything at all. The money you will save, will more than pay for new stuff on the other side. If it were me, I would pack up the clothes and files in the trunks of the 2 cars and jump on I-10 and say Adios! Just think carefully about whether the stuff is really worth hauling across hill and dale....

Dave (and all that are engrossed in this little tête-à -tête), I for one, do not expect everyone's grammer and spelling to be perfect, however, when it is soo bad that one needs to read it several times just get the jist of the post, that is rediculous.....A little extra effort would go a long way.

Here in SoCal so many colloquialisms exist that really bug me and make me shudder every time I hear them: Acrosst: As in: The man walked acrosst the street: Should be: The man walked across the street. others: Stoled ("he stoled the money from the bank") Drownded and so many more.... edit....I see you corrected yourself

I think that there is a big difference between typing errors, and spelling/grammatical errors. Many mistakes that are made are unnecessary, and some of them really, really bug me....pet peeves, if you will. Things like the difference between (and correct usage of): We're : were : where There: their : they're and others. While I agree with you to a certain degree, I think that, if one is at least partially educated, then appropriate diction should at least be attempted. Just my 2 cents worth.....

I have also heard that filling the section of pipe with sand then tack welding the ends closed then bending will eliminate the kinking and wrinkling. Then just grind off the welds and let the sand run out.....
