Thats what it is. Cheaper g35, less power, front wheel drive, Im sure its sitting on the same platform, and change the looks slightly and there ya go! Personally, I don't like them. Its just a way for people to get a car the looks like a g35 for cheaper. But Im pretty hard on car designers these days. Like the new charger. grrrrrrrrr:icon55:

Just a little fun fact. A airbag is deployed at over 400mph. We took airbags out in a parking lot, sent a charge to them, and sent empty bottles over 50 yards in the air. Its kinda intimidating to think in a wreck an airbag is coming at your face at over 400 mph, not to mention the amount of speed your face is heading towards the airbag.

I work at a UPS store. And just yesterday I had two men come in to ship out a leaf blower. The father could not speak any english. The son could understand me but not speak english very well. To make a long story short I asked them 4 times if there was any gas or oil in the leaf blower. Each time they said no, that they had cleaned it out. I explained to them that it is a FELONY to send out items with gasoline still inside they tank. They said it was cleaned out and nothing inside. They paid and left. I took the package to the back room to put in a plastic bag because that is UPS POLICY TO WRAP UP ANY TYPE OF ITEM THAT HAS USED GAS BUT IS EMPTY AND CLEANED OUT. Now...I preceded to pull the leaf blower out of the open box. Guess what? Close to ONE GALLON of gasoline was still inside the tank. Not only did these people put my life and hundreds of others in danger but after being asked 4 times and explained it is a felony to ship out this kind of stuff they ignored me. Personally these people should be put in jail for a good amount of time and fined thoroughly. I totally agree with this comment. It makes me ashamed that people can put others lives in danger just to save themselves from taking a couple minutes out of there lives to make sure a package is sent correctly. Truthfully this thread has gone way further then it should have. This question could have been answered easily and thoroughly but it hasn't. I'm hoping an administrator will put in the correct input needed to answer the question and lock this thread as soon as possible. Also lastly I will include this simple yet explaining Icon.-

Trial Fit 18 x 9.5 Wheels...With Pic's!
ZDrifter replied to Bartman's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
If I were you and had wheels that wide I would stretch some tires on the fronts and rears. That way when you will roll the fenders and the suspenison compresses, the tire will be angled and travel in the same motion as the suspension causing it to run parrallel with the inside of the fender lip....if that makes sense to you... You wont have to go this crazy but just to give you an idea of what I mean.... -
My dad has a 2004 protege. I have personally driven this car and its actually pretty fun. Gets good gas mileage and isnt slow enough to kill you. The only down fall is the seats are definitly not comfortable...My butt is hurtin after 30 min. Other then that good commuter, he drives it everyday 45min to work and back, so maybe Im used to the comfy seats in my Z. hehe

From http://www.hazmat-news.com FAA Proposes $84,000 Penalty Against Texas Company for Hazmat Violations The Federal Aviation Administration, Southern Region, has proposed to assess a $84,000 civil penalty against Advanced Automotive Interior Design of Richardson, Tex., for allegedly violating Department of Transportation hazardous materials regulations. FAA alleges that Advanced Automotive Interior Design improperly offered a fiberboard box containing 10 air bag modules to Federal Express for transportation by air. Automotive air bag modules are classified as hazardous materials. Ground handling employees at the FedEx sort facility in Gadsden, Ala., discovered the shipment. Advanced Automotive Interior Design offered the hazardous materials for transportation when they were not packaged, labeled, marked, classed, described, documented, or in condition for shipment as required by regulations. Advanced Automotive Interior Design also failed to ensure employees were trained to properly package and handle hazardous materials, and did not make available at all times the required emergency response information. Advanced Automotive Interior Design has 30 days from receipt of the FAA notice to submit a reply to the agency. This announcement is made in accordance with the FAA’s practice of releasing information to the public on newly issued enforcement actions involving penalties of $50,000 or more. Now would you like to make a shipment correctly for say....$50 bucks?? Or go into a UPS store and ship the FAA a check for $85,000?

Yet they will sell millions. I could post a blog on the internet saying if you put a tampon in your gas tank it will soak up additives in the fuel which cause bad gas mileage. This will show a increase of 10-15mpg gain. I bet you sales of tampons would increase 500% and you would start seeing not just woman buying tampons anymore.

I'm sorry but I really disagree with this. An airbag can be extremely dangerous if not handled correctly and you are putting it in the hands of a person who knows how to pack pictures and toys which most likely are teenagers. Bubble wrap, paper, boxes, carpet, popcorn= static electricity and I know that static electricity can cause a spark which can deploy a airbag. Mechanics go through training on how to work on these and they are very dangerous. You could be held liable if you decide to not tell them, which could include long periods of jail time and no Z time.

Call 1-800-pick-ups. Keep pressing 0 till you get an operator. Most likely you will have to take it to a UPS hub and ship it out. Thats what you have to do with guns, hazardous material, gas tanks..etc.. Hope this helps

If you dont care about sweating then go with the 260. I drive mine daily with black leather interior and no AC. I could care less but my friends think Im insane. It all depends on what he wants to do with the car also... -

Calling all Turbo'd Z's...Intercooler sizing
ZDrifter replied to streeteg's topic in Nissan RB Forum
21X11X3. Tiny but it does the job for a stock RB. I will be going somewhat wider and a taller once the GT35R is going on the car. I had no fitment issues with the intercooler but had to cut the core support a little bit for the extra pipe. And yes when the turbo goes in so is the Greddy intake haha. Going with a cross flow intercooler next. -

Dont say all his problems will be solved quite yet.... If your problems still continues after you replace that, do a leak down test. This will tell you if you have bad rings, valve seats, or a head gasket..
