  1. I think you can get the classics in Anodized now also. I wish That option was avail when I bought mine. I'd have went Ano Blk the whole wheel...
  2. It's definitely a 5 spd, and looks to be a 280z trans.
  3. You need to post some good pictures of it. Those numbers aren't helpful.
  4. Looking good with the metal repair! Let me know if you want to unload that r200 4:11
  5. I've seen them new on eBay. I think I may have a extra if you don't mind waiting till later today for me to confirm...
  6. Thanks for the info Ray. I really only want the 4:11 for a diff gear ratio though. I'm looking to match up my trans gears (rb25det) to the diff gear it came with as a new car (4:11). I have a 89 GT-R short nose with a 4:11 & CLSD carrier, that I was planning to put that carrier into a long nose 4:11 open R200 (if I can locate one). If not, it's back to orig. plan. That is to put the 4:11 short nose GT-R clsd in my Z. Doing it that way makes me have to get a longer drive shaft, a pinion flange to fit the drive shaft, and then use the MM 6 bolt billet companion flanges, sub axles, and R230 6 bolt 1/2 shaft kit with custom mossier axle center bars that I already own. I need to buy a short nose diff brace from TTT or MM still.... Long story huh....?
  7. Wanted to Buy - R200 4:11 long nose. Please PM me if you have one you will let go of.... thanks!
  8. No can do. They are matched pairs and you can't use a short nose pinion in a long nose case.
  9. Sorry to hear that. Please start a F/S thread in classifieds if you have something to sell. Thanks, and good luck...
  10. Great explanation Tony. I would spend the extra then, but that's just me....
  11. Don't really know what they used. The hood came with two bolts on each side, so I removed them, cut two alum L brackets, drilled holes in my alum L bracket, then bolted the brackets on, and then the hood on. What ever they used to tap for the two bolts to hold on the L bracket, it's glassed in. It's fairly stout, but no where close to oem hood strong.
  12. is your cf hood attached to oem hinges? Yes did it comes with the tabs that stick out for the hinges to attach to? It has threaded nuts embedded to attach a L angle to, which then bolts to oem hinges. It's secured as well as a oem hood. also do you expierience any flex on the hood at speeds 70+? im having trouble keeping my hood stable, None
  13. What do you mean? Are you requesting your account be deleted? Please explain...
  14. Be careful.... you get very few free passes driving it "way lean"!!

  16. That's exactly what mine looked like when I got it in '91
