  1. I have done a detailed thread on my oil over set-up...please do a search. Its oily good fun. Yasin
  2. I can confirm that is not the front spoiler on my car. It is made by a now defunct Japanese Tuner company, I actually bought the spoilers straight from them many many years ago. I will have to dig up my records it was Junction something or Garage something. The name slips me right now. I am lucky if my socks match in the morning. Yasin
  3. Very nice. Congrats. She cleaned up nicely. Looking forward to more posts and updates good luck with the 1J FC sale (awesome swap). Yasin
  4. I enjoyed reading that 3 page post on Supraforums. Good to see many of our lads getting kudos on there - congrats guys. I feel those Supra guys would also take another look at the 280ZX, as I feel I have taken the time and patience to make it as good or better than the S30 (presentation, handling, brakes and performance). Most think as the ZX as a throw away car - sadly. The Z31 is another understated beaut. I would join that forum to open their eyes to the S130 but do not want to be a post whore pedalling my crap. Its funny to me that many of them are ONLY stuck on the 240Z! Puh-leeeze! Yasin
  5. I spent a considerable amount of time being on the team that designed and installed all the natural gas pipelines in Innisfil back in 1996 for Consumers Gas now Enbridge. I worked there for 12 months straight and lived in Richmond Hill. I enjoyed Innisfil alot. At the time I was madly in love with a beautiful woman from Barrie. Yasin P.S: Small world!
  6. Sorry guys I took the pics down. I needed the space and server prices are not cheap. Yasin
  7. LO - Look Out W - World CA - Canadian RB - RB26 Z (ready to pounce). HBD! Yasin
  8. Beautiful...congrats. More pictures please. Hope you painted the door jambs, under the hood and the engine bay to make it truly complete? Rear suspension needs to be lower. Yasin
  9. I had the M104 Twin Cam engine in my Euro W124 E320 and love it..for 217hp it would accelerate great. I hated the 2nd gear starts but once you got rolling, it was awesome. 100mp/h was hardly breaking a sweat. A M104 in a 190E would be simply awesome!!! Way better than the Cosworth 16V 2.3L..as you cannot beat that silky straight six...being Z owners we all know about silky 6 cylinders. I love the look of the 190E and they have aged very very well and super cheap to buy! $1500 buys you a nice running one! Mayolives post up some pics of your W124 500E. One of my all time favorite Benzes! Love that car to bits! Woj...awesome SL55!!! That engine is incredible....one of the best ever put in a production car. Modded? What year? Yasin
  10. hey (slownrusty)

verry nice zx's in the pictures you put up, i have a zx of my own with an rb26 converion im just wondering what rims they are on the white zee and how much trobble you had getting the coilovers in or would you recomend a normal spring shock setup.

    cheers

  11. I prefer the GT2 for more eye ball popping performance...especially the original 993 GT2 which sadly never came to the U.S: Yasin
  12. Thanks Paul and gang! I appreicate the comments and support. Yasin
  13. Sorry but I think it looks absolutely terrible...I threw up in my mouth, but it was so much vomit it ended up on the floor.
  14. Can you give the exact model the block or engine came out? The C36 and all the straight six 3.2L all had head gaskets issues at no 5 and 6..this was a frustrating source to many MB owners, so a word of caution. These engines get VERY hot and if you are going to turbocharge it, be warned of the heat. Interesting swap and I am very intrigued, I am subscribing. Yasin
  15. Is the bungee chord going to be your permanent solution to secure that intercooler?
  16. Fanastic build, inginuity, skill and talent. Congrats. I am honored that we have members like you on HybridZ Yasin
  17. Daniel - I was worried when I read your post with the fear that you had a tiny bit of combustion pressurizing your cooling system as this has happened to me before and its the worst feeling having to go through the effort of pulling the motor, redecking the head and or block and new a headgasket etc etc. Anyway and luckily it seems this is not your problem. Pallnet's suggestions should be seriously considered. You have seen my white ZX Turbo. I am running a very thick intercooler and a thick oil cooler and also twin electric Flex-A-Lite fans thermostatically controlled on a semi-custom aluminum Arizona Z Car radiator. I also removed my AC condensor. My car never sees past 180-190F it runs beautifully cool (I have about 80-90 miles on my new set-up, maybe more), in fact the electric fans earn their keep though and run frequently. Its comforting to hear them kick on as the L6 is not tolerant of high temps or temp spikes. I lost my faith in the clutch fan many years ago. I hope that helps, contact me if you want to chat further as we are only 45minutes from each other. I ecstatic you got your car up and running and I hope you guys had a great time yesterday at Tynan's (any pics?). Sorry I was a no show. My best, Yasin
  18. Thanks for all the awesome compliments and support guys! I appreciate it and still not close to being finished but getting there. Yasin
