  2. J - What are the distinguishing features that identifies this motor as an R33 RB? Yasin
  3. Nope....no one got these heads except a few select in Japan For the $$ that it will cost to build a 600hp L28ET...you can buy a 2JZ drop it in and have plenty of cash left over for a vacation to Japan, but a nice R32 GTS-T and ship it back.. I am not sure how much $$$ you have to spend but here is what I figure: 1) Custom intake manifold with individual throttle bodies - $1200 2) Custom exhaust manifold - $1800 3) Turbo and external wastegate, BOV - $2200 4) Standalone Engine Management, ignition + Gauges - $3000 5) Injectors, Fuel Pump and Fuel Regulator - $1000 6) Extensive (port , polish and re-work) Headwork - $1500 7) Custom cam, new rockers, double valve springs - $1000 8) Custom Forged Pistons Swain and Teflon coated + rings - $1100 9) Custom Forged Rods - $800 10) Diesel crank (used) - $350 11) HKS Metal Head Gasket, all Gaskets, - $250 12) ARP Head studs, rod bolts, studded bottom end, FWheel bolts - $250 13) New oil pump and timing chain, sprockets - $250 14) 11lb Flywheel + Clutch - $750 15) Intercooler + Piping - $1200 16) Aluminum radiator + Electric Fans - $500 17) Competant machine shop to hot tank, bore, plane, assemble, clean, line bore, etc - $1800 18) Dyno Tuning $750 19) Tranny that can hold this power - Who knows? 20) Pay a shop to put every thing together, wire up gauges, standalone etc etc - $2500 21) Earls fittings + Oil Cooler - $1200 22) Misc (About 5% of above list from 1-21) - $1100 TOTAL - $25,000! not counting the tranny or on other words the price of a Twin Turbo Supra or early model Porsche 911 Turbo..if you can do it...go for it like Jeff said open your pocket! Yasin

  10. The price is about right for such a rare engine and trany combo. Pity about the cut harness but for another $2-3K you have lots of EFI possibilities. Yasin

  12. Alex - I recommend calling Greg at Whitehead Performance, their number is 416-665-2220. They recently finished Q's RB26 / 240Z conversion. When you talk to Greg...tell him Yasin sent ya! http://www.whiteheadperformance.com/ Yasin
  13. Beautiful....love it...one mean Z32!! Yasin
  14. That is a VERY cool piece and looks beautifully built. But I am 100% positive will not fit our LHD cars and even if it did...the plumbing for the turbos and intercooler would be pretty intense with everything on the left side. Converting the car to RHD would be a huge effort too? With Garrett making 460whp, Tim making 600+whp, Jeff P making 500+whp...there is alot to be had with a single efficient turbo set-up..just my opinion. Yasin
  15. Big Brother Tip 2: That Mazda 626 IC that you have is an upgrade for the guys who own the 1987-1989 Mazda 323GTX GT and these guys scoop up those ICs all day long for $150 - $200 on eBay...there is your funds needed for a real IC. Yasin
  16. Wow totally ole skool and cool..right down to the old MSD box. I am anxious to hear your opinions on how the car runs, starts reliability etc etc. I am sure it has plenty power when you plant it... Congrats on a great buy and neat to the last bolt. VERY Nostalgic. Yasin
  17. Ultra cooool.....I would love to see the fully scanned brochure and would greatly appreciate if you could post it. Regards - Yasin
  18. Daddy Likey....any higher res shots you can post? Yasin
  19. Is that what I think it is....an early 5 series? WOW..and cool. Yasin
  20. Nope...none of the 300ZX models (NA or Turbo) use an AFM, they all use a hot wire MAF. Yasin
  21. As a matter of fact my Oil Cooler is not much smaller. And yes you are TRULY wasting your time with that Intercooler. It was designed for a 4cylinder motor with only modest hp levels. Big brother tip No. 1: Save your $$ and buy a decent intercooler, you need something that has a core with at least 450cu.in core. Yasin (not Yashin)
  22. Nice work buddy and you still had time to put up the Christmas lights too! Yasin
