  1. I guess I am not sure where you are having issues, I was able to hook up mine up in about 20minutes - mine is off a 1987 300Zx Turbo. It is extremely easy to install and mounting is much easier due to being physically smaller than the stock barrel coil - wiring is not hard either, just make sure it comes with some pigtail harness from the 300ZX or Maxima or head to the scrap yard. I installed mine 6years ago! Wow...I'm old. Yasin
  2. But the real question is did he go the extra mile for the Diesel LD28 crank? That's what I want to know. Yasin
  3. Did you see what you missed on the shelf on the 5th pic I posted...I just noticed that...LOL! Yasin
  4. Many thanks! It is a nice place to work...trust me I have done my time in the trenches...living in a basement apartment lying on the ground with snow all around (and down my back) me doing oil changes etc etc on my old Datsun truck when I lived in Toronto....still gives me shivers! Yasin
  5. Here is mine, I recently bought this place over the summer and I am enjoying it. Lots of room, and it has drawers with roller bearing casters wheels - so they glide - tons of storage and very bright! Has its own urinal and wash-up sink - so no more treking grease and grime into the house. It also has AC and heat in there as well and a Sony mini system - just loud enough (probably enough to annoy the neighbors..LOL), it has a cable coaxial outlet but I have no TV in there. Its a mess right now as the Datsun is in a million pieces with the engine rebuild and I have a lot of moving boxes still laying around. Clean-up coming soon. Regards - Yasin
  6. The webbing acts like a heat shield to the injector rail and injectors sitting right above it, so why would you want to remove it? Its not hideaous either and you save what maybe 1/2lb? Yasin
  7. The real question is "Did the PB Blaster Come WIth The Turbo?" Yasin
  8. Its about time!! I'm sick of seeing all the crap Escalades, Navigators, Chrysler 300C dies casts with their 22" wheels....finally!!! I'm going to scoop up all three! Yasin
  9. The consensus is that adapter would work very well. I was actually the one who made the original post on it. On the Z space is a huge limitation, so there is a chance this unit *might* not work as its probably 2.5"-3" long. It provides a good alternative for mounting solutions if you have a custom exhaust manifold. Yasin
  10. Awesome...I love Danish pastries! http://5x5m.com/files/speedbandits/ Yasin
  11. Funny but sad......listen to it...turn up your volume! http://www.indianpad.com/story/15119 Yasin
  12. Help me with this guys...what are these two belts (left and right) conencted in the head and then lower down? They are in different locations on each head and cannot be the cams as the these are quad cam engines...??? Any ideas?? Yasin
  13. James - Thanks for the feedback and I agree....but I have literally been collecting parts for my big Turbo build up for about 5years...I have everything covered from custom exhaust manifold to custom intake..beautiful P&P head...Thagard sourced Garrett Turbo you name it..Haltech..bottom end will have JE pistons..big IC...etc etc..so the stroker was the last piece in that sense. BTW - I left you a message last week at your shop, did you receive it? Yasin
  14. Talk to Greg Whitehead he is the Z car man in Canada! And he is 20minutes from you. His business is Whitehead Performance. He just finished Quentin's RB26 Skyline engine swap into his Z and has some coool project coming. Good luck with your car and join the Ontario Z car club too. Yasin
  15. Cool another Colorado Z fan! schwiplarkin pretty much has you covered. Yasin
  16. Well my friend we all feel for you....and its a dead shame that you had to endure such a huge financial loss leaving a bitter taste in your mouth - understandly so. A Few Questions & Comments: 1) I have NEVER heard of rods being re-sized - why would you do this anyway? Most folks will buy longer or shorter rods depending on their application. This would have been my first clue to run. 2) How do cylinder walls warp? I am unsure what you mean by this. 3) Most Z cranks will wrap just slightly about 4thou and have to be checked for straightness - easy and inexpensive to do. 4) What kind of oil pressure did the engine have when it was freshly rebuilt? I think you have a great case against him, and would legally pursue it. Otherwise purchase a junkyard motor or junky old Turbo ZX (maybe $500) and do the swap properly, even with 200K miles on them, these damn motors refuse to quit. You'll be surprised how healthy they are 25years later. Good luck to you - Yasin
  17. Brandon this is in Canada so that km/h..140km/h = 87mp/h - believable.
  18. Nicely executed...but no bids? 375hp too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-1973-datsun-240Z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6187QQihZ002QQitemZ120051168055QQrdZ1
  19. That was a good read...when I lived in Toronto I lived literally minutes from the location of this incident, so I felt I was reading his description. I would not have called the police either, a little homestyle justice works just fine for me. Tamils are originally from Sri-Lanka and represent a large percentage from that island, they have been fighting for literally decades to gain power there, and many have left Sri Lanka and migrated to Europe and North America. I know for a fact that in Toronto, there is a whole police division dedicated to them as there is alot of upset violence associated with them, amongst themselves and against others. Yasin (the Brown Guy).
  20. That R31 looked pretty weird with the tubs as it was gliding down the track!
