Here is the spacer you need - 1" can be made at any machine shop very inexpensively. Here is the J-Pipe I modified and I used a regular rubber coupling to mate it to the TB. You have to cut down shaft of the TB only if it had cruise control. You have to use the original arm from your L28 and re-orient it to match the ball and arm linkage of the Z. Its easy once you sit with the parts infront of you. Yasin

I made that pod from scratch essentially. I started with an Autometer 2pod Miata and added a single Miata pod and cut them up and grafted them onto my A-pillar. Some fiberglass, lots of sanding and voila. I tested the Mustang 5.0L pod and its just wide and would require more work than the Miata pods to make it fit and trust me I have almost 20hours into this stupid pod alone! Gang - A few of you asked me to post some pics of my home made gauge cluster after installation and wiring it up, well here it is just finished tonight...a few minutes past midnight. This thing too way too long to make...18hours...plus it broke when I removed it originally, so I had to repair that and then when the paint was curing it accidently fell and got scraped...so re-sand and paint..UG! and wait yet another day before I could handle it. Working on cars....!! I think this car is so cool....$4K starting and the build spec is amazing, with different wheels it would be awesome. No worries! Moving and car project(s) = Double triple stress levels, I know as I am there too! For a turbo car, open exhuast is the way they like to breathe.... is the resonator straight through or baffling in the way of the air flow? If you can stand the noise I would recommend the open exhaust or a VERY open chamber 3" muffler (I have a 3" Flowmaster on my L28ET). I do not have a resonator on my car. Yasin

I can send you some dimensions of mine, it was designed and fabricated by JamieT and I can run up to a 95mm TB on it if I wanted, but will only run a 70mm! Yasin

Looking great! For all your gaskets you can get them cheaply off eBay or from http://www.roadraceengineering.com - thats where I got mine. I would recommend Jet Coating your manifold, too late now as you have it all painted...but its a better coating that will keep the heat in the pipes and last a VERY long time and good to 2500F Here is what their hottest coating looks like (also avail in black). To answer your question....stock L28ET healthy 180hp at the crank w your 3" DP and open exhaust (you did not even mention diameter of your "open exhaust", I would say easy 190crank if not more.
