  1. Pics as promissed. I want $50 for the fender, it's what I paid. The headlight bucket you can have for free. One bolt is broke on the HLB.
  2. I should have both fender and HL bucket. Let me dig them out tomorrow and take some pics. There hasn't been squat in the JY and even when they are they've been junk.
  3. Stop that! It will only look bad when I get out!
  4. If your happy then that's all that matters. I kinda like the gold engine bay too for some weird reason. You need to fix the overheating issue first.
  5. The custom Corbeau have to go. No head protection fixed back and not comfortable at all. I have these mint 240 seats, but the center is more burgundy then red. What do you think, does it look that bad? My wife and daughter said no way, but I can't stand the current ones. Is it that bad?
  6. I had that same color. My kids called it orange. I still don't know what color to call it. Nice find.
  7. I would agree 100% if he said the tank wasn't rusty. I went through this process with my 280z. I did your route first as it is the easiest. Inline gauge right of the injectors. Actually it's still in the car. The hard part was at idle the car and pressure were great. Give it gas and try and drive it, forget it. Mine backed fired a lot though via the intake. Now if I had a camera where I could see what was going on that would have been great but either way the tank was coming out! The amount of rust was unbelievable.
  8. Does it back fire at all? If you know there is rust in the tank you will have to pull the tank flush, clean and seal it, plain and simple. Your highly likely running lean and the car simply can't be supplied enough gas under load. If u don't clean the tank, you will have the same problem with the new motor. Likely the injectors are gunked and nut rusted clogged. Unless you don't have a filter on the supply line to the injectors. Additionally you will need to check the screen on the fuel pump.
  9. ^^^^^^^^^^ This should be your simplest, fastest test.

    240z Seat rails

Hey Jeff how about these I found sitting in a box buried in your garage and look one set is already installed on the seats you were going to use.
  11. I don't think that is the screw used for adjusting unless someone did it wrong: http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/afm/index.html Is that a Turbo AFM?
  12. Oh NM. The fence threw me. http://orlando.craigslist.org/ctd/3089747809.html
  13. Cool. Did that guy have a 280zx turbo for sale that was beat real bad? Those are 80's Riken wheels. Doubt they are made anymore. eBay maybe Craigslist. Copies I believe of the Enkie wheels.
  14. Looking for stock seat rails. Let me know how much shipped to 34786.
  15. Ron, I may have missed it but you sold the car with the M3 motor and bought it back, but what happened to the M3 motor? Also, looks like you went with the aluminum block after all?
  16. I was able to get close to 50 PSI doing the same thing. At least gave me a little more confidence.
  17. LOL, my wife asked are you going to keep this one!? I think I may, but I get such a kick out of buying and selling. It's almost as much fun as driving! No A/C or heat! It's great at night and early morning.

    WTB: Velo Rossa

    Did u see this? http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/3136764173.html
  19. I agree and I'm glad it wasn't mine! He actually removed almost all of the rear sheet metal as well, tubed the entire rear end and made custom inner fenders. Suppossedly he got a divorce over all the time he spent on the car.
  20. Yeah I bought it. I actually paid $3400! She's a bueaty at 20'! As ruff as I am on paint jobs I'm actually okay with it for now. First step is to get it the FP down from 45 psi at idle!
  21. I'm curious to know how many sets of tires they went though!
  22. Sweet. I saw that today too! Make me one!
  23. Your pics are not showing up. You have to have a log in to Classic Zcars to see them.
