So the wipers dont work on my 81 turbo, I really dont have to time to find the issue and make them work with the normal switch on the console so I was thinking there might be a way to "hot wire" the wipers to work from just a toggle switch. I really dont need wipers, but want them to work just in case. Id want them to just be on the highest setting. I was looking at the plug that goes into the wiper motor in the engine bay. Would there be a way to run power to that plug through a toggle switch or would that make it where the wipers wouldnt go back and forth? Also if you have any tips on getting them working a different way let me know. Some of the stuff in the dash doesnt work, radio, ac/heater, so I dont know if it could be a single problem that wiped all of them out. The arm with all of the light switches works fine so everything isnt broken. All the fuses in the cabin look fine. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Looking at it now, I wonder if its just draped over the top of the gun rather than loaded backwards.. Also hoov, thats some good thinking on the way you carry the ammo. Dont want the tips of the bullet to get buggered up and cause it to misfeed/jam. Were you a machine guner?

Are you meaning to just cut off the plug/connector from the harness so its not hanging there?

What year engine is it going into? The turbo pistons are dished which will produce a lower compression than the flat top pistons used in some engines. The other difference is that the ring lands are lower on the piston, I dont know if thats a problem but its something to note. Youd also want to address the bearings, I dont know if you can just pull the old bearings off the the chipped piston and put them onto the replacement.

Do you mean chipped? What are the used pistons out of? Also try to use english when typing, it makes it alot easier for others to understand the question and successfully answer it.
