  2. also late.... mine are weld rodlites: 15x6 on 205/60' for the front, 15x8 with 255/60's in the rear. btw, nice hood, ga. flash
  3. i couldnt use hooker headers with my canfields, as mine have angled-plugs. the angled plugs prevent the header from lining up properly. mike kz pointed me to the rw37 headers back in the day: http://www.zigsstreetrods.com/zigs.html these work with angled plug heads.
  4. mike's doors close like a new car...
  5. someone posted an alternative to that with a part number from mcmaster carr. i actually ordered enough from them to do 2 cars for less than $80... i havent installed mine yet, but have heard that it works quite well. someone knew of this through a z car resto shop that uses this instead of the oem or precision parts. i'll try to round up my receipt and get the part number (unless someone else can step in...). oh, and pep boys sells the same weatherstripping for twice the price.
  6. thanks, scottie. if only i could get it all back together... the rear wheels are 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing. the tire size is 255/60-15.
  7. im running a 27" tire on my silver car for street use. pics are available through the link to my imagestation photo album.
  8. yup, shuyun, that's the same hood as on the car i posted on page 2, as well as being the same that i have on my car. nice choice!
  9. this pic is a little too dark, but you can see what pete is talking about: the driver's side header is fine, with it's lowest point being at just above the bottom of a stock-sized oil pan. on the passenger side, however, you can see that it sits about 2" lower. sectioning the primaries for the passenger-side header would be the ideal solution.
  10. the long tube headers you ordered from motorsport are the s&s headers mentioned above. if you paid more than what's listed on the s&s link i provided, you'll probably want to cancel the order and get your money back.
  11. here's a link to the site: http://www.ssheaders.com/StreetRod.htm the 5205h's are pictured at the top of that page. however, the price is higher now than reported by SPIIRIT, at $276.75 raw and $486.75 for coated. here is the description from the webpage: and, if i'm not mistaken, andrew baxley used part number 5210 for his car. i'm not sure of the difference, but they are listed to fit the same '27-'34/'35-'48 fat fenders. i have the 5205h's for my car, but not yet installed since the car is back in paint prison. a side note: they work with both the jtr (though the passenger side is kinda low like mentioned previously) and hooker installation kits.
  12. that's the kaminari three hole front spoiler: http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TZS&Product_Code=50-1422&Category_Code=7AD1 i have the same one on my silver car, though his has been modified. it's a very well made air dam. the headlight buckets were custom made. they were supposed to be offered at one point by msa, but there was some reason (such as cost) that they were never offered. he had the only set. he sold both the headlight bucket assemblies and the front spoiler on ebay within the past few months. he's still trying to sell the front brakes from that car (and the price has gone up!!): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33563&item=2416676813
  13. and he only lasted for a short time with that frosty spray, as it was burning his skin.
  14. wow, another nice choice. did you have to do anything special to fit the 240 bumpers?
  15. nice photoshop work. sato's car is amazing. originals:
  16. cool, good info! i'm interested in seeing how to use the two speed fan with that kit and the extra relay. thanks!
  17. try logging out and logging back in. i've had this problem before with the pics showing as the notorious red x. it happens on occasion, but logging out and back in seems to solve the problem whenever i've had it.
  18. i remember the green machine... but, that's not what you are talking about. it had handles that you moved to drive it. someone told me recently that huffy was going to re-release the green machine.
