will this manifold be produced more than once? or will it be just a one-off run....?

happened yesterday when I was pushing the car a little bit. The belt is missing a 3-4 inch section. I have replaced it with a better quality belt. I also had to replace the light/washer switch as well as the turn signal swittch. I got both off of Ebay that was in full working order ( I got lucky) and bought a NEW one from a dealership in Dallas for back up. It was NEW and mis-marked on price so I snatched it up for less than 200 new!!!! this is the fourth car in my stable... so it is driven once a week for about an hour. the car is mostly for around town and the occasional fun run. I was not that impressed with the quality of the stitching on the seats to be honest. They were a budget buy and if I had the money I would have spent more money on the Recaros that I really wanted. This is the first build up that I am doing. I plan on picking up another 77 280 and doing a more elaborate build up in the future. I wanted to keep this a track/street car as it has no A/C. The seats are comfortable. I will give them that. I still have the original seats and plan on restuffing those at a later date....

sorry fo the delay...I had an issue this morning. I destroyed the only belt on the car this morning while I was playing. I was taking the car to get dyno'd and tuned and well the belt won. I just put a new one on and I am off to go have some drinks with friends..... Here are some pics..... I know some will appreciate the new plates that I got....

Well it is late and I don't have the camera ready....but tomorrow I promise to take pics of the new interior....... Corbeau A4 seats Black Microsuede, Corbeau Three point harnesses, and a MSA carpet kit.......... My knuckles hurt, my hands are too big to be squeazing in those small a$$ holes.......I learned that I have the ORIGINAL SPARE STILL ON THE SPARE RIM, and surprinsingly it actually looks good. My original seat belts were made 12/69......and my fat a$$ can fit in the hatch if I contort myself enough...........

LOL say what you will. but as they say everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I like a CLEAN, uncomplicated canvas. Let the paint speak for itself. I have never seen the need for "go Fast Stripes" on any car that didn't have them from the factory...Hell I am not even sold on some of the stripes from the factory. To me the stripes break up the car too much and make it look choppy.

There is no reason in my book that you should put stripes on a Z. End of story. The car only came with a "ZZZAP" option that had stripes. If you were to do stripes, then work off of that one. It was a yellow car with multi colored parts of the stripe. Use that but go with grays and silvers to match your paint scheme. Only if you want stripes. I am just not a fan of stripes unless they are on a rustang or a camaro like they came from the factory......

there is no need to switch to 5 lug. Just buy some wheels that fit correctly.......NO SHIMS, OR ADAPTORS.....speaking from experience.....

how hard would it be for us to do the same and make a underbody piece for the front clip. What thickness aluminum are you guys using? I don't have my car right now so I can't get a good look see......

to be honest it is not my style. I think the wheels over power the car along with the chrome rocker panel. Kudos on the original color, but I can't really say anything cause the pics are BLURRY..........

I had a long conversation with the manufacturer of the flocking products linked in this thread. A good conversation at that. I am awaiting in the mail samples of the product that they provide. They can apply the product two different ways. 1. with a air gun. 2. electrostaticly....I want to see the difference before I get it done. I am in the mean time ordering my new Corbeau seats in microsuede so that they will be here when I get the samples. I want to match up everything.... i.e. dash, center consolue, and seats. I will then figure out what to do with the rest of the interior. I am also installing a carpet kit that I just got from MSA as well. So hopefully the interior will be almost 100% for the JCC show on January 25th here in Houston........

Just cough up the coin and buy a good carpet kit and you will save a lot of time and headache. especially if you don't have much in the way of patience

I wonder if it would be effective with a M3 type of rear spoiler? Even though it is small it should create som kind of preasure on the rearend.....

Scratch that idea of the seats being 500 for the pair. I talked with 365motoring and they told me that I could have the F1 Reclineable seats for 1000.00 shipped to my door.........I was getting all happy thinking that they were 500 for the pair......... I am just going to go with the Corbeau seats, sliders and belts for the same damn price as just the F1's............Now I am back to waiting patiently for the rest of the parts to come to fruition...........

your speakers will destroy each other in no time. seal the box. Did you check the specs on how much air is needed for each woofer? The 3" speakers should be in their own enclosure in orer to get the proper range out of them, as well as have a corssover for them to ensure that you are not going too low in freq......... If you like it then that is what matters but if you want good quality sound and you want your stuff to last then I would get answers to these questions posted.........

I am really interested to find out how much more quiet the interior of the car will be after all of the sound deadening measures that you have taken. Did you do anything for the doors? Did you spray andy sound deadening inside the door onthe outter skin?

I don't know of one place that will sell those seats for that little......but they two have caught my eye. My only thing is a seat bracket for them that will fit our car....

I am at odds between white and orange it is not even funny.........
