  1. looks like you could fit more than one set in the housing if you made a backing board to mount them onto....
  2. Chemical blue...... Why do you have your distrubutor still installed, yet you have individual coil packs? I am about to get a XDi2 system for my car in a few months.....
  3. Air Ride Tech. doesnt have anything that would work for the Z? I have seen them plastered all over Hot Rod and a few other mags, they have done a review of them on Horspower TV and they said that the kits they have are good enough to trackin some cases............ On a side note...I am about to get a 1958 Apache.......I am gonna bag it with 20/22....any other suggestions....
  4. Devilcat what was the reason for your post? A spacer will give the needed clearance without changing out the hub.......
  5. I too would be interested in the changes. I would like to be able to run E85 in my draw-thru turbo setup.....I am concerned with the octane rating. I was told not to go above 15lbs of boost on pump gas, but I believe that I might be able to go to 18lbs or even 20lbs. where my cut off is..........I know my motor was built back in the late 70's early 80's to run up to 21lbs of boost. But I was told to only go that high with 110.... I am jealous of your #'s that is off the chart!!!!!!!!!
  6. OMG !!! I used to love that movie Corvette Summer......I used to think that was a sweet ride as well.....not so much now.... Good job on the hood....
  7. Do you have any pics of the set up in the engine bay? I am hoping and praying that my numbers will be that good on my Turbo Tom kit. I am at 14 degrees at about 15lbs. on pump. I have a few things I need to fix before I strap her down but for the most part she is driveable........ You are giving me something to look forward to.
  8. did you find the struts? I need to replace mine for my '70 240Z....
  9. # 3 I want a splitter but was going to make it out of Alum. Let me know how serious you are about it.
  10. I know that I am repeating myself but.......the rb-r 17X9 will be flush with the fender and not need a flare, correct? I cna deal with rolling the fender or pulling them a little but I don't want to put flares on this car.....
  11. some of us didn't get HVAC when the car was made.......not an option....( God I need A/C in TX.....)
  12. What would the shipping be to 77346? I am interested and in houston......
  13. Enkei. My dad had the same set on his '73 but they had bronze centers. I am selling them if anyone wants to buy them drop me a pm....new tires as well.
  14. I bet that thing is hard to look at in the sun!!!!!
  15. god that sounds good......I would like to put one of those in a 77 280z for my next project............that sounded really good.....
  16. parents had a 635 back in the late 80's. I used to drive the piss out of the thing. It would blow head gaskets all of the time, without redlining.....you might want to re think boosting that car......don't get me wrong I love dit but it just would not hold up to abuse at all........
  17. I envy you, because your car is painted.......but I don't envy the fact that you have a good 2-3 hours per panel of wet sanding to do, not to mention the buffing........... Looks a lot better than my " baby siht yellow" 240......
  18. I was just drooling over that.........
  19. L24 block, balanced and blueprinted, Aeris 9mm pistons E-88 head, o-ringed, Racer Brown cam, Not sure about the valves or the springs but know that it was all replaced with high-end siht back from 1979-81. MSD 6-T ignition, Mallory coil, MSD Super-conductor wires, Pertronix pick-up Turbo Tom kit, Holley 660cfm carb ( was just rebuilt by Dan Davinci) Water injection I have put in a Centerforce Dual-friction clutch in the 4 speed. I don't have a lot of faith that the R180 rearend will stay together or the transmission for that matter with this thing being as stout as it is....( just more parts for me to change out) I have not dyno'd the car but will when I get the cracked manifold fixed as well as a exhaust leak. It will be a while before this sees a dyno. I have a few other parts I want to change out. The car sat in a garage for about 15 years without being started or touched, I have been going through it slowly for the last 2 years and I think it will be about that long untill I am done with it completely. Here s the thread on the car.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117481
  20. I know right where that is.....I used to pass that place at 100+ when I had my IS 300.......I am slammed this week but I might be able to meet up with you on the weekend to look at the wheels......I will have to see how it goes.
  21. What Toyota dealership were these pics taken at? I am in Humble are you anywhere near me?
  22. Well it has been a while since I have done any updates on here so........ I am including some pics of some of the changes that I have done to the car...... I spent the beter part of a weekend wet sanding, buffing and polishing my valve cover and my water injection tank. I have purchased a set of MSD super conductor wires and made my own kit. I made braces for the wires so that they will all stay together and wrap around the motor. ( eventually I will have a Electromotive XDi system on the car but for now this is my fix.) I have decided to pull my car to its resting place for a little bit while the house is waiting to be sold. I am sending off my intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and downpipe all to get refinished and coated something special. I have two boxes of goodies that need tp be put on the car as well and the next update will include all of the new changes. and the boxes of goodies I think I am going to buy a powdercoating kit from Eastwood and redo some things on the suspension when I get into the new house. ( I am building it so I will have enough room to work on the car and stretch out a little.....
  23. Stop talking about the IS 300 you are making me miss mine..... if you want a IS 300 cluster go to my.is and search in the forsale part of the forum...there are always people unloading things there for cheap......
