  1. here is some of my contributions, its not as nice as others, but my engine isnt a hybrid, so its the outter beauty i can show.
  2. Llave, my dog is full sized in those pix! 17 pounds of fury, look out squirls and birds (she hasnt figured out they can fly away yet) she is actually 3 years old.
  3. heres my shop, i dont have a garage, so close enough, you can see z parts, and a zcar!!!! its much cleaner now, but still the basic crap is still there.
  4. billet aluminum why dont ppl answer my good questions here! (my new threads)
  5. well couldnt help it here some more of her!!
  6. id be interested in a "kit" of course price counts, i like what your doing, ill even take screwed up "seconds" cause i dont care if its not purty. dash 8 rail should be enough for most, but you could offer different sizes, prolly not all that difficult to do.
  7. yes the shibas can be balls of energy, especially combined with the shepard. that also adds to the devoted part. pure bread shibas like mine cant have there feet touched tho, its documented, and my dog fits that bill, im still trying to figure out how to trim her nails!! ill post more pix of her this weekend, ive got some really cute ones!!
  8. wow, good combo of dogs, about what weight is she?? looks almost like the compainion dog the jindo. (large shiba inu)
  9. well i say we let spammers, just cause i wanna see BRAPP do foggy burnouts at ppls house!!
  10. i couldnt help to post in this thread. her name is keisha. everyone asks what kinda dog is that!! she is a shiba inu. yes japanese!! i almost got one like her named nismo too!! i actually rescued her, she has been beaten and choked by the previous owner. she is great hands now!! i have more pix, just not hosted yet.
  11. i cant get outta the 6 minute times with my toyota minolta. i havent got the f1 cars yet. and im driving the whole game myself, none of this b-spec crap.
  12. the reason i say fighting turbulenece, is that seems to be the big talk when it comes to some manifolds. i really dont follow stuff like that cause i cant measure it. dont have the time or equiptment, nor does my ride have as much power potential as others do. im just interested in it because its one of the final steps to my motor other than a better fi setup.
  13. thats the photo i was thinking of. there has got to be a dang good reason forthe central tb. pressure drop or something, im not a flow guy, but can someone model it and see? this may reduce or eliminate all the turbulence everyone seems to be fighting.
  14. you need a adapter to make the honduh wheels fit. spacers wouldnt be adviseable for racing. you can find cheap adapters on ebay, but if you want get some thing that is proven, get the modern-motorsports ones, email him, but be patient, it takes time sometimes. after that, any honduh wheel fits, and they are a dime a dozen. how bout sending 4 245's my way!!
  15. well when i build street engines, they tend to be not as streetable as ppl like them to be. so in my theroy, this intake is my street version. using pix is usually my basline to get something correct. going by the pix on zhome, in the electromotive writeup, and anything else ive come across is good enough to build off of. then just some fine tuning and reading on this site about the finer points of airflow, and one day i shall have my intake. i do alot of reading, and now with the ability to TIG weld, im going to be on my way in the next 2 or so years. (got too many projects to get done or it would be less time)
  16. ive always wondered that tony, i just dont know enough about it to actually put it like you have. ive looked at that manifold for years. thought to myself why are they all doing that instead of a "engineered" race setup!
  17. heres mine, its really odd. n47 block, bored out, pistons stick above block .020. p79 head, decked .080, with custom one piece .080 shims. got 2mm gasket and cr of about 10.8:1 talk about the hard way to do it. bought stock over size flat top pistons, and they stick up on stock rods and crank. go figure. my other motor, f54 block (stock flattops), p79 with the same treatment, 10.5:1 cr. much easier and cheaper.
  18. regular flat black paint in any brand, dupont, ppg, house of color, will hold up, its just regular enamal without the shiney part. it seals and hold up. all the rat rod guys use it when they do the flat black thing
  19. stopped following it a ways back, had the drg files sent to me a while back. prolly should keep up on it. thanks for the link, i always forget about that section.
  20. wheres bonney lake wa??? im in western canada, and itll take 30 cdn per hour. you got a new motor, or just need the gasket done??
  21. so, what size is good for a runner?? is there calcualtions per each application? or just do it to the size of your heads port size? its quite the science to build such a manifold, but what are some realistic tips and advice? so many questions, so many opinions
  22. the shims help with brake squeel. you can substitute that goo instead if needed. you can also put the shim on the other side, then use goo.
  23. sighs and shakes head...... just send me the rest of the car, and someone send me the parts.
  24. also if you dropped the paper, DO NOT USE IT!! this is a huge mistake by many ppl. also is your water clean, and have just a little soap in it. dropping the paper on the ground intrduces grit of whatever size. my brother just finished screwing up his new paint job by doing this. it back to the booth for his car. it takes many many hours to really sand it correctly. coupla part days to really do it nice and perfect.
  25. you may also find that only one of those fans is ness. for most paint requirements, its kinda trial and error. 2 prolly will be needed for clear, that stuff hangs and atomizes pretty good, so get it out. i have my shop on a sod farm, so there is no worry here about smell. specially cause im by the clippings hut. rotting grass is gross in huge amounts.
