  1. I kinda have to agree with the statement that you feel safer on a motorcycle than in a car. Ive been riding since i was 10 on the dirt and got on street bikes when i was 16 with my dad. so ive been off and on with street bikes for over 10 years and the reason i feel safer on the bike is maneuverability and just the fact that i stay so much more aware where im on the bike. IDK if its because i have so much seat time racing Motocross that i just get into attack mode when i throw my leg over a bike that makes me that way but ill admit that i can get a little bit lazy when your sitting in your nice comfy seats listening to music and chilling in the ac. I do know that im NOT safer on a bike though and that you have to ride like your invisible on the street as not to get hit but I agree with my dad when he said he trusted me more on a street bike than he did in a car when i was 16 after i was in my secound wreck lol.
  2. Ive had that happen to me while racing motocross before and obviously at slower speeds and managed to keep it on both wheels. But still thats pretty amazing.
  3. I had a set up like that challanger with the glasspack and with out the glasspack. The glass pack defenitly slowed my car down when i did it.
  4. That just depends on the type. The problem is that they are clocked wrong.
  5. Ya when i wrecked my car last june I wasnt expecting state farm (my insurance company) to value my car for nearly as much. But the guy said mine was worth in the 13k range. My damage was just like yours minus the rear end which is going to be the most of your damage.
  6. Lol he had to go home and go to bed. I think i started working on it at 10am on wed morning and finally got it running thursday afternoon around 3pm. I then procedded to go to work. I didnt sleep for something like 34 hours. It was horrible but i did get my car done. And yes it runs I got some vids of me out "playing" last night ill see if i can get them from my friend lol.

  9. Yes just go get a plug and plug the pop off valve. Ive heard of some people crushing it to increase the spring pressure but i never messed with it. I just took it off. And on the bov yes it should go as close to the tb as possible theoretically but i think mine is a good 8-10 inches before and it works fine.

  11. I say race both phil!!! i used to race 3-5 classes depending on where i was and how old i was. I normally raced 125 intermediate stock/mod, 250 intermediate stock/mod, and open outlaw. Now if i would do that now i would die and i mean die.
  12. Hey guys ive been having an issue with my tps since i put in this new 3.0 board. I have 5 volts going out on the vref and i have variable volts in comparison to throttle position coming back on the tps line back to the relay board. Ive checked the continuity between the realay board and the realay cable pin 22 with my ohm meter and its fine. Ive also checked the tps circuit And i cant find anything wrong. So any body have any ideas?
  13. Nice phil. What class are you running. The biggest double i ever did was in the 140 ish range. Well it was the take off from one double and the take off to another double a few of us where making into a huge triple. Lets just say that jump broke my sternum in 2 places and tore my rotator cuff. Dang i need to get back into racing.
  14. You have to look at your duty cycle to see if you have any injector left. Have you tried tunning it out by adding fuel?? Honestly those injectors are pretty small so its very likely your running out of injector. Im probably selling my 460cc injectors with rail if your interested.

  16. Ill let ya know as soon as i get my tps working. i have 5 volts going to the tps and i have variable volts coming back. Its getting lost between the relay board and the ms. So idk.
  17. Well i had a fun day. First of all that moving those wires and changing the to shielded wire def. helped. But there is still a few resets every now and again. Im going to switch my tps over to shielded wire also. Then im going to see what happens when i wrap my injector wires in foil and then ground it out. Oh yeah the fun part. I went and washed my car today and when i went to leave i started my car and reved it up a bit and then it died. Long story short and a mile hike back home i apparently fried my processor in my megasquirt. I cant get it to load firmware or connect to my laptop. I threw in my old processer from my other MS and it started right up. So now i have a dead processor and ill have to order another one. I think water got somewhere and shorted it out but i couldnt find any water anywehre. So ya its running great right now even though my tps isnt working so my AE isnt working but its made it real nice for tuning. Ive never turned it off before and it makes tuninig alot easier. Im getting vref into the tps and voltage back out of the tps and into the relay board but its not regestering so im not sure whats up. Oh the boost controler obvously doesnt work since its tps based. But honestly its been fun driving around at 7psi. I can drive the piss out of it and im not doing over 100mph lol
  18. My friend works for GRM and he has talked to the makers of this simulator alot. They get PISSED if you call it a game lol.
  19. But there is a 280zx in the movie. Just on the side of the road and it gets smashed but its defiantly there. I just got back from it. I liked it. Nothing ground breaking but it was good.

  21. Hey mobythevan. I did some more research and i found more postings saying to put the caps on pins 31 32 not pins 30 and 31. You can edit my previous post to clearify that. I changed my caps and i also redid my coolant and iat sensors wires with shielded wire and put the shield to ground. I also ran them out of the loom with the injector, tps, and tach wires. I drove it to steak and shake at like 4am for like 15 min and no resets but we will see if it lasts lol. Not related but i got bored and wired in my boost control circuit and im going to play with that today.
  22. What company is telling you to do that? Every thing I have read has said that its a bad idea to do that as it can actually wear out the blades after a while. Ive read this on coolingmist's and others
