  1. Same way as when they are out of the car..... 2 screw drivers or a prybar or something similar.
  2. Either go to autozone and get some carb soak and just drop the whole carb in or try some of the eagle one etching wheel cleaner for cast wheels. It amazes me how nice old aluminum looks after you do this.
  3. No your looking at it correctly. I just want to make sure you get the right one you need. I just thought i remembered pulling this out of a tranny with a 3.36 behind it is all.
  4. I have one but are you sure that the 19t cog is for that because i was pretty sure it was the one that came out of my stock tranny when i had a 3.36 rear end.
  5. Not to be mean but there is even stickies on this subject. I think you could try a little harder to find your info.
  6. What a pain in the ass. There is over 3 pages of this stuff if you hit the new posts button.
  7. MM is a very respected company in the z car community. I have some of his stuff on my car. Its not a fly by night company and has been around for a while. You wont get ripped off ordering from the website.
  8. I believe the turbo bolts have a shoulder on them before the head on the bolt IIRC.
  9. You talking about the bar that goes above bumper? I have a front one.
  10. Mid 10's is way to rich!!! lean out the top end to 11.75-11.5. I can notice a huge difference in power when my car is tuned 11.5 or 10.5
  11. Thanks alot ive been looking for a drawing with the injector spacing on it.
  12. The 240sx tranny uses the same splined yoke as all the manual tranny's that came behind the L6's
  13. My best advice is to put it in and find out. if you have to have it shortend most driveline shops can do it in a days time and will be 50-70 bucks.
  14. I know that detonation causes the destruction of pistons not boost. The point i was trying to make was why go with a weaker part if you can get a stronger part.
  15. You dont think a thicker ring land is going to make a difference? Ive sunk ring lands on turbo pistons rather easily i dont want to know what would happen with a weaker ring land.
  16. That would require me to pay someone to do it. No thanks lol I need to rebuild my engine more than i need bling. And a Neon Green turbo sounds fun to me
  17. lol actually i did most of the work with the scotch bright pad things on my die grinder. there is different grits. i did cut off the big boss where the valve went though and then cleaned it up with that big carbide bur you see in the pictures. then finished it off with the scotchbright pads. And i dont think im going ot polish it. Cause then ill just have to keep polishing it and ya i dont really want to do that.
  18. So i got bored this afternoon and for one i ported my exhaust housing and then i started to strip the orangish coating on my holset. then i just kept going and shaved everything on it let me know what you think. Before and how it sits now. Im probably going to paint it some bright color because people are always like "Wheres the turbo!" lol Nothing fancy but ehh it was fun and I made a huge mess of aluminum chips lol
  19. Its more important to have good crank case evacuation going on so there isnt any pressure build up in the drain tube. Im planning on running my valve cover and crank case vents to the xhaust with the 45 deg pipe method.
  20. If its for racing then i would go with it. If its for a cruiser, or driver i would go with something different.
  21. They arent 500 new unless you go buy them from a speedshop. You can get them for $380 shipped all day long on-line. And thats with a 6 puck sprung disk. Not trying to discourage just letting you know. I would call up act and see if they would replace the rivits for you also
