  1. They arent 500 new unless you go buy them from a speedshop. You can get them for $380 shipped all day long on-line. And thats with a 6 puck sprung disk. Not trying to discourage just letting you know. I would call up act and see if they would replace the rivits for you also

  3. Just one question? why only 275hp? Your already going to be replacing the turbo and injectors and it really wont cost him much more if any to buy a little bigger ones. Put some 440cc injectors and lets say a t3/t40e on it and you can get to 350hp pretty easy. Idk I just see the work going into the engine that can support more and then cutting it off at 275hp. Thats just a thought i was having. In my mind i was thinking in the 10k-12 ballpark. Maybe if your doing this on the side in your garage a little less.
  4. Yes I will second the fact that my situation is RARE It hasnt been doing it now for probaly 3 months after i did that very extensive modification to my board. But you do have to realize that my car ran perfectly with no signs of resets for over a year and then they started popping up. Dont let this discourage you from going MS im planning on keep running it when i swap over to my 2jz

  6. Im planning on running my crank and valve cover vents to one of these. Is there some ideal size of pipping i should use? im planning on doing it under the car after my dp goes from 4" to 3" so it should have a higher velocity. Another question is how long does it have to be straight before i put another 45 in it and make it run parallel to my exhaust? And can i have both vents going to one pipe or do i need to use 2?
  7. Im running a 300zx clsd also. just curious if there is going to be binding or if they are going to be ok. I really dont want to tear them apart. Honestly im not sure how i could unless i got new boots. uggghh

  11. I didnt read it all but ive seen TonyD say it many times before over at zcar. I stopped going to that site once i started noticing the same thing would come up every day. I really dont like how the forum is run with the whole new posts at the bottom new ones at the top. You cant really bring up an older thread and ask a question on it because no one will see it. Partly i think its the sites fault for not making it easy to search for information.

  14. Oh and that pickup is possibly done correctly. There is a company in FL that makes those. Alot of the Lawn care guys use them so they can get all the guys in one truck and then they haul a trailer Ok nevermind i looked at that truck again and thats not how the company i know of makes them lol. that is a little scary

Hey guys I had a cracked boot in one of my cv axles so i ordered all new boots and was going to tear them down and clean them up and put the boots on, But when i got them apart i noticed that they are very worn and very sloppy. So here is my question. What is my best option here. can these be "rebuilt" by having it welded up and machined down or something or should i just look for another used set? I also thought of ordering a set from autozone even though i know they wont be the correct length on one side and then just swap over my axle shaft to the bearing and carriers from the new ones. Does that make sense? If i go to the junk yard to find a set to do this with also i can get the NA Z31's also right but ill have to swap the shafts. Well I await your input. Thanks Jeff
  18. Hey austin im pretty sure position 1 is the correct way for running with the mmsports adapters. I had a set of z31 axles that i actually flipped around for a guy before i shipped them. Position 2 is how they came from the factory though.
  19. to me it sounds like you have your warm up enrichment going through both injector channels but you only have one injector channel reading off of ve table one
