  1. I have one that i just got on my extra turbo motor. how about 25 plus shipping?
  2. Just saying it has to come off in order to get the transmission apart. So to everybody i guess.
  3. Prothane is a reputable brand. And it looks like a complete kit to me but i dont have a zx. And no its not just a normal grease its a grease that is made for urethane bushings. its really thick and sticky. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__Polyurethane-Poly-Bushing-Chassis-Grease-14-oz-Tube_W0QQitemZ120368618934QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item120368618934&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A543|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Thats a pretty good deal. You can get little packets of it at autozone but thats much cheaper.
  4. Did you take off the front cover and the snap ring?
  5. If your not in a hurry I might be able to do this for you cory. Im not set up at my new place yet. It would probably be cheaper for you to buy the bad dog rails and floor pans as the time it would take someone to fabricate new ones out of sheet metal would be more expensive. It might be a few weeks before im ready to really start working on cars again but il let ya know.
  6. on mine i went satin black on the plastic pieces around the tail lights but my chrome trim had seen better days so i painted those gloss black. I think it came out really nice and the difference in gloss makes it look sharp here is the only picture i could find
  7. OK i just remembered that you had 255/40-17's falkens when you first got the rims.
  8. have you thought about a wider tire on yours? your running the 255's on the RB's right? you could go to a 275 with room to spare. Thats what im running and i have no rubbing issues.
  9. LoL that guy has put so much into that car lol. I guess you dont mind though do you??
  10. Soda blasting wont harm the machine marks. If its ok to use on the bottom of million dollar yachts to remove scum and such with out harming the gel coat im pretty sure its ok for your wheels
  11. I had wondered what happened to this build. Glad to see it hasnt been abandoned.
  12. That still the same GS you where working on when I was down there??
  13. Awesome rick. Purely awesome. I cant wait to see you get everything running. I hope it doesnt take to long!!
  14. Its easy to do but are they case hardened?? I havent messed with the lash pads on the l series yet but I know that in a pinch i have taken a piece of glass and some 1000 grit sand paper and sanded down shims for a motorcyle before with good results. You have to have micrometers to do this obvously and you have to keep checking for squareness and to make sure your not wearing one side down more than the other. figure 8's is what ive found to work the best. Also make sure you do it wet.
  15. I love it!!! Now Id do something like that just to go to a muscle car show and hear people bitch about how i ruined a classic American muscle car. Still I love it. Reminds me of fast and the furious tokyo drift where they put the RB26?? into the classic mustang. The classic car guys where in an uproar over it.
  16. Ill just step up on this one and tell ya to search. Its all been covered NUMEROUS times. Try checking out all the stickies on all the sub forums.
  17. I think I saw a picture of a few of them once. A few gnoses??
  18. Turbo pistons and NA pistons have different ring groves. Thanks though... And my dad could actually stop by and get it if it was correct. I grew up in newton. Was always in wichita.
  19. Hey I am rebuilding a spare l28et block i have and i need one piston. Rod no rod it doesnt matter. Just let me know. Thanks.
  20. LOL I just hadnt seen it. Im not on as much as I used to be. I work all the time and then the rest of my time is going into getting another project running that i picked up last week. Oh and then i still need to rebuild a zxt motor for my car as I'm running on 5 cylinders at the moment lol.
  21. LOL I guess its nice to be imitated lol And you succeeded in making me laugh
  22. Hey Derek its looking amazing. Id have to say i would run your injector harness a little different also. You could hide it much better. I think i saw your relay board over by your battery in one of the pictures. You should try to run the harness under the manifold and back to the fire wall and into the hood latch brace and then to the relay board. Ive redone my injector harness this way since you've seen it and it looks so much cleaner. Obviously my relay board is under the drivers inspection lid but you get the idea. I really think you will like the look of it with out those wires there.
