  1. Looking good phil!!! You going to make it to DNI?? Im glad to see that you are painting your car too. The rustoleum paint doesnt satisfy your paint wants for very long when your car is your baby lol. Good luck with every thing esp. the paint. Its a long long road and alot of work!!
  2. Ive been there and done that man. I got in cuffs and in the back of a hypo and when he got on to the interstate from the side of the road he floored it. I politely asked the cop if that was floored. He said yes and then i chuckled. Cause my car is alot faster lol
  3. id just make one out of some steel shouldnt be to hard.
  4. ya mine had instructions that you might have to hone or sand the snout of the crank some to get it to fit. The BHJ dampners are the same way. You can also try sticking the dampner in the oven at 250-300 degrees F. and heat it up to expand the metal and then put a bag of ice on the snout to shrink it some and then put it on very quick like
  5. Did you not read the directions that came with the pully? It clearly states that its going to be a tight fit and that you might have to do some honing to get it to fit.
  6. That sucks i had friends that worked at that plant.
  7. Hey if it is solid mounted that way you might want to try to go to autozone and get some swaybar end links from energy suspension. Then you use those on the bolts to make it not a solid mount. Make sense?
  8. It sounds like a fuel pressure/flow issue to me. Either you have a bad pump or your tank might have enough crud in it that the pick up tube is partially clogged so that when you go higher in the rpm's and it needs more fuel the pump cant suck enough fuel up to keep the pressure high enough. Make sense?
  9. the guy with the dsm is the guy im talking about. I believe he lives in wichita kansas at the moment. I may of spoke wrong but i know he had it running with megasquirt 2
  10. I was looking at the same thing and i have talked to a few people that had at least touched those turbos and messed around with it and they say it should be able to be done pretty easily as the motor on the wastgate is the correct type to use with the boost control.
  11. Its a much nicer and stronger tranny. They will shift better than the 280z unit also
  12. That is a NA1 its a 1991 it has just had the headlights and every thing swapped after i was backed into one night in the drive through.
  13. NSX all the way. Here is some pictures of my friends nsx. Its just getting out of paint.
  14. Hey Derek that is awsome!!!! one thing to think about is what fuel pressure was the person who you got your map from and what fp are you running. If i was still in florida id be over there in a heart beat to give you a hand with tunning.
  15. It was just a guess. But if it was installed backwards wouldnt this have negative effects??
  16. I have one that i just got on my extra turbo motor. how about 25 plus shipping?
  17. Just saying it has to come off in order to get the transmission apart. So to everybody i guess.
  18. Prothane is a reputable brand. And it looks like a complete kit to me but i dont have a zx. And no its not just a normal grease its a grease that is made for urethane bushings. its really thick and sticky. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__Polyurethane-Poly-Bushing-Chassis-Grease-14-oz-Tube_W0QQitemZ120368618934QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item120368618934&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A543|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Thats a pretty good deal. You can get little packets of it at autozone but thats much cheaper.
  19. Did you take off the front cover and the snap ring?
  20. If your not in a hurry I might be able to do this for you cory. Im not set up at my new place yet. It would probably be cheaper for you to buy the bad dog rails and floor pans as the time it would take someone to fabricate new ones out of sheet metal would be more expensive. It might be a few weeks before im ready to really start working on cars again but il let ya know.
  21. on mine i went satin black on the plastic pieces around the tail lights but my chrome trim had seen better days so i painted those gloss black. I think it came out really nice and the difference in gloss makes it look sharp here is the only picture i could find
  22. OK i just remembered that you had 255/40-17's falkens when you first got the rims.
  23. have you thought about a wider tire on yours? your running the 255's on the RB's right? you could go to a 275 with room to spare. Thats what im running and i have no rubbing issues.
  24. LoL that guy has put so much into that car lol. I guess you dont mind though do you??
