I'll second what Daniel said about TunerStudio. The auto tune feature works really well and most certainly better than a novice (me) tuner.
Derek
Oh and my tune won't help you either as it's for ITB's. Â
I would seriously consider adding an IAC to your setup. I have this on mine
I'm running the extra code and I control the cold start and idle air with the valve. You really want the butterflies closed at idle and the idle controlled with some sort of air bleed.Â
DIY Autotune has a nice unit from Darkstar that would work really well for you.
Derek
Looking good!
I agree with Tony about the linkage. I reworked mine a few months ago and it really improved the tip-in. My setup really likes it a little fat at an idle as well.
Derek
Be careful not to cool the weld down. Also dollying the weld before grinding will help reduce the tension created by the weld shrinkage.Â
Just some thoughts
Derek
It will be worth the effort every time you open the hood!
Trust me!
Looks great. Nice execution. Â If it works out to your liking you can blend in the welds and then get a foundry to put it in their Wheelabrator machine. this will help give it a nice even finish and look more like a single casting.
Derek
Wow I hope this works out well for you.
I also had ordered from them about a year and a half ago and had no problems. But in this economy a year and a half is a lifetime.
Derek
Well the Chrysler TPS was a piece of crap as well. I've been suffering with it for months now. I finally decided to fix the problem. Â I ended up with one from Motec. Worked like a champ and was reasonable at $45.00.
I have much better resolution so my TPS based accel enrichment works much better.Â
Just thought I'd update this for future reference.
Derek
Your wish is my command!
Alright I'm going to be knocking out another 8 setups. Those with the first dibs are according to the date they contacted me.Â

If your on this list please let me know your status.Â

Ok I'm a little confused.
Dan says I should reduce my COS error by extending the link from the firewall to the butterflies.
Tony seems to be saying I should buy a house on the lake and get an old Chris Craft.
Unfortunately in this economy I can only afford Dan's idea so I ordered up a length of hex aluminum to make a longer link.
Derek
I figured that's where you were heading with that question! I think it must play into it for sure. But opening up the angle has made a big enough difference that I'll probably be sticking with this arrangement. It's still touchy but compared to what I had it's a huge improvement. Theoretically I could make a cam wheel to drive a cable over to the throttle lever. I may give that a try some day but my to do list is so freeking long right now it's beyond "back burner"
