  1. i have a brake master from a 79 parts car that worked great that i just parted. let me know if you are interested

  2. yep, that's the one I posted up here a while ago and got some people's input. I got the exact seat mentioned above, but in FRP instead of CF. (cheaper for me and I only care about the feel of the seat. I'm sure the CF isn't the best around, and its probably just a cover over FRP haha.) I sat in the seats and they are VERY comfortable. It sucks though, cause they are taking FOREVER to get in, but should be here by August.
  3. I would not want him working on my even on his best day!
  4. AWESOME!!! Any rubbing issues with your current setup? How high did you mount your ZG's? Also, do you think we could meet up so I can see everything in person? I live in Mission viejo, so its not that far of a drive on the weekend? Maybe even tomorrow since everyone has it off.
  5. I have the MSA rear sway bar for sale if you'd like. Don't know the shipping but I can find out if you really want it
  6. Just thought I would give you a heads up. I have been speaking with McKinney Motorsports on some aftermarket engine mounts. Now, nothing firm yet, but he is going to be looking into making them for the 240-280Z using the stock engine mounts as templates. I have asked that these not be full poly mounts as to make the vibrations too intense, but rather just double the strength of the current stock mounts. Myself, I'm just looking for something stronger then the stock rubber for my future setup (SR20DET @~350HP) that will allow for the engine to sit flatter during heavy tq. I currently only have about 240HP and about 220 tq and I've had brand new mounts put on the day that this was setup and after 2 years, the mounts are tearing the rubber. I think some mounts that at least double the strength of the stock but still keep out SOME vibration would be a good investment and addition to our Z's. If anyone has ever owned the Nismo 240SX engine mounts for the SR20, you can understand what I am going for. Those were VERY durable (both engine and transmission) and made for a VERY stiff engine but very little vibration transfer. If anyone is interested in this please do post in the list and I will keep this updated. The more people we get to show interest the better our chances that these will be made and maybe we can work on a GB for the first run. Cross your fingers!! Who's Interested . . . 1.) New-To-240Z 2.) 3.) 4.) 5.) 6.) 7.) 8.)
  7. Got any extras? I'm looking to get one myself
  8. exactly what he said ^------- pull the 1/4 windows toward the front of the car and the entire thing will come out. On a side note, how far are you in the rustoleum paint job? I'm going to start painting my car soon the same way, but I am still reading up on how to sand the car prior to painting with the rustoleum. It sounds like I don't even have to prime the paint before doing the rustoleum . . . are you?
  9. everyone . . . I've actually purchased those exact seats, just not with the grain effect. I will be getting my seats sometime in July. If someone lives in CA and can help me make the brackets I'd love to have the help. If not then I'll prob have to fab onto up or pay to have them made for me.
  10. did anything ever come of this? Did you try to make the engine mounts? I'm really interested in this!
  11. HAHA, thanks for the input everyone. I'll be taking on this project soon. As soon as TTT makes my rear end conversion setup, I'll be ready to put it all together and swap everything out. Hope it all goes according to plan. (it won't, it never does haha)
  12. Hey guys, I'm looking for a 280ZX 79-81 brake master cylinder to put on my 240Z for when I move to 240sx rears and 4x4 fronts. Anyone have any for sale? Please PM me if you do. Located in Mission Viejo,CA 92691
  13. so, it sounds like I can keep my stock SS lines for the front Non-Vented 4x4 calipers and rotors, and then only have to buy a rear set of SS 240sx lines for the 240sx calipers . . . SWEET!!!!!!!! I can not tell you how happy I am now! FlatBlack, you want the rear set for like 25 bucks shipped? I know it isn't the full set . . . but its something
  14. I will if I have to, but it would be much better to not have to, and just sell my 240Z SS brake lines on here. I'm just trying to save as much money as possible. The TTT rear end conversion is pulling a lot of my wallet, but is also getting a lot done that I need done in the meantime. Anyone else have any ideas?
  15. DAMN! that would have been nice! So, do they both use the same type of banjo fittings? Can I just order a set of 4 SS brake lines for the 240sx (since you can get them pretty damn cheap) and just use my stock hard lines to connect up to the SS lines for both the 4x4 fronts and 240sx rears? Thanks again!!!
  16. Just a quick question. I've gone through this thread already like 2 times over the last 3 months, and I don't want to go through it again. I'm going to be running 10" coilovers, 17x9 in the front and 17x9.5 in the rear. I'm looking to fill out my cut fenders with the ZG flares. I was wondering if I should run 235/40/17 up front and 255/40/17 rear or if I should just up in width or jump up in height, or both? any ideas? In essance, I want my stance to look like Myron's!! Myron's Sexy @$$ Z!!
  17. Hey guys, Just looking for a quick answer. I don't know if the flare fittings will work becuase I haven't purchased the setup yet, but I'm looking to move to the 4x4 front (non Vented) brake setup and the rear S13 brake setup and I'm just wondering if I'll have to buy new SS brake lines? I currently have the SS lines from MSA for my stock 240Z front calipers and rear drums . . . anyone have any idea? The more money I can save the better!!!
  18. I myself just got my rims, and no lug nuts. I was wondering if you received them in each box or if they were all in one rim box? I have only had the chance to open up one box since I need it for mock-up of my flares. If we were supposed to get lug nuts I need to contact Kim and have him send me these.
  19. I too am working on this situation. I may have to go the route of these 260+shipping mounts. I think these are the Kameari engine mounts correct? I actually bought the brand new 240Z engine mounts and just looked under my car a week ago and found that they are starting to tear the engine mounts apart. I do have a 240HP SR20DET engine in there, but I can't imagine how bad this will be when I drop the new turbo and injectors in there making 340 - 390 HP. I don't want to have to replace my engine mounts all the time!!
  20. Trying to learn how to weld, but no-one wants to teach me! haha

  21. can't wait to see this baby go in!
  22. Please someone help me . . . I am looking for the picture of the 240Z (i believe) that is white, has the rota RB9R) rims, and is lowered with a MEAN stance, as well as has his exhaust out the front driver side lower fender. I'm amazed that he hasn't posted his car in this thread, but I really wanted to see his setup again but can't find it . . . ANYONE care to make my day!?!? ***Edit . . . Just found it Myron's 240Z
  23. i don't get why people would paint over the polished lip of the rims? I mean, its the whole reason I'm getting these babies!! (On a side note, your car is still hot CamH, just not my personal style) **I just wanted to say that getting in touch with Kim has been really easy for myself. He took no more then 3 days to get back to me regarding the rims, price, and where to mail it all to. I can't wait for my set to show up on my doorstep. I'm dieing to see these in person!!!**
  24. Wow, how much am I looking at for the gas cylinder?
