  1. they say 1:1 ratio can put you in 12's. (in the perfect world) 2700lb race weight car will need more than 270RWHP to run 12's.

  4. I like the Blitz's unit. Nice and clean sound. RFL is too loud for me. I can't tell if I blow the IC hose or not. Greddy is real high pitch. I don't like the sound so much but it works great. It can be recirculate too.
  5. L24,L26,and L28 are all physically the same dimension. I won't be scared to run turbo on built L24. I woulf over bore it on later block (like F54) and go with 86mm bore or larger. That's make the car not much less than 2.6L I think. Also run the turbo cam and other turbo components. Are you Dylan that I know
  6. I know. I got a connection at local rubber warehouse. I get just about all my hose stuff from there now. I can get just about everything free too like 1/4 inch I.D SS braided hose with flare-end (5 ft), High silica fiber blanket, and also Silcon sleeves Look around and you can always find them cheaper. BTW, back to the topic. Nice james. I want to hear some good result
  7. well, I set the initial to 20deg today. with I think 16 deg advance. (I need to double check) with 7 deg retard under full boost (10 psi)

  10. 600HP fan clutch I think that proves that fan clutch isn't robbing too much power
  11. I agree, 3 inch DP, 60mm TB, and ported intake goes all together. I dynoed my car with all that stuff plus intercooler and dynoed 208RWHP on 8 psi on stock turbo. (with a blown head gasket)
  12. silicon hose One with "T" is turbonetic one ($$$) the hose won't come off iff you use good hose clamps like turbonetic constant torque clamps ($$$). I got one 3 inch hump hose. I think it was like $35 from turbonetic. I paid $20 from a friend.
  13. It's heavy enough, I won't recommend bench pressing it to install it. (from experience)
  14. Never mind, I just looked up GT series 76 trim. 53.8mm major with 47mm exducer. not even close to be stage V (71mm/61.95mm). No that's not big enough. 62trim would flow but not with that turbine wheel. IMO HKS GT3040 runs 50 trim and 84 trim and supports 500HP. FYI
  15. The cfm between the two is not much different @ redline because redline is higher on SR20 than L28. The turbo probably spools about 1000rpm higher rpm on SR20 but if you can shift the engine around 8K rpm it'll all make up for it. Just a thought. It well be a dog trying to spool Stage V wheel on a 2.0L. BB will help some. wait, 76mm = 3 inch. It must be bigger than Stage V
  16. 76 trim is Stage V I think. I have no idea 62 trim is I would go with T04S with BB, and forget about it

  18. Well, I bumped the timing alittle and my EGT seemed to dropped some. 1530 deg lastnight. (it was cold last night)
  19. So you carry 3 ton jack everyday? IMO, you need more MPH. more boost
  20. I've been aiming for 1550 deg but mine peaks around 1620 deg. My timing is stock. 20 intital. What kind of probe Cody?
  21. what's your highest EGT record. And where is your probe located? I would also like to know where the timing was set too if possible. Thanks
