  1. See this thread for some information on the 245 vs 225 on an 8" rim. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=143096&highlight=compound
  2. I was going to say something similiar. Tires look a tad short but the overall look of the car is bang on.
  3. Well I've found a reasonably priced automatic Z31Turbo car that I'm thinking of picking up and stripping some parts off of. My biggest goal is the R200 with LSD/3.70 gears and the CV's is there anything else on these cars that is worth picking off for an upgrade to a 280Z before I send it to the scrap yards? Brakes? etc? Body isn't in the best condition, although it does have T-tops that look good still
  4. I like it, it flows with the black decals on the sides well.
  5. These are Recaro seats I had re-wrapped for my 280Z. Fit is as good as can be I think. Ton's of lateral support with the side bolsters.
  6. I have no issues with the 8" on the front and i'm running 225/50/16's
  7. There are a whack of people running these wheels, myself included. Check out my cardomain page on pages 3 and 5 for pics of them on the car http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2545113
  8. You sir would be correct. I should have been more specific. I will be running these with the modified companion flanges and a R200 with 3.90:1 gears and an LSD
  9. Looking to get the last piece of the puzzle for my winter project. I need a pair of CV's for my upgrade. Let me know what you have and what you are looking to get for them. Thanks Jason
  10. Awesome. You'll enjoy the time spent in Canada. I've lived coast to coast in my short 26yrs of life (born in BC and lived most of my life in Ontario and Nova Scotia). Lots to see and do IMO. Great people and decent coffee too
  11. I think it depends on how often you are planning on making the 1hr commute to the Z. If its rarely then I'd store it, if its every other day the cost in gas to get there and back will add up quickly and eat into that $150/mnth savings. I'm with Scott though on the whole. My one car usable garage is great and the 3 car garage I'm planning to build and attach my wife's house to will be heaven. lol
  12. Ouch. How much of the drivetrain is salvagable? Glad to see that everyone was ok.
  13. Great to hear that she is on the road to recovery!
  14. I'm glad to hear that your son is getting what he wants. Thats what is important in all of this. *two thumbs up* Makes me smile that's for damn sure! Jason
  15. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=97851&highlight=autometer+guage+install search and you shall find.
  16. Of course it was a 5th grade level, its a scammer! I'll post his reply if he does to see what happens
  17. Well since I've posted my datsun for sale (without posting an email address in the thread) I have gotten a few scammer emails. I figured I might as well play dumb for a little while. This is one series of the emails I have gotten. I can't wait for his next reply. Little long winded but the punch line is at the very end. 18. OMG this thread delivers and the video is awesomeness to the tenth power!
  19. Doesn't do much for me personally. I'd flush the rear and then get decals or paint DATSUN on the rear if thats what you want. Decals would be prefered that way it can be removed if you wanted to. Cool idea though.
  20. heat would be a thought. I know in the new vipers that run side exhuast the heat is felt in the cabin pretty noticably... not sure on your pipe placement but the datsuns don't exactly keep heat out well to begin with lol
  21. My households thoughts are with you and your family. Things will be good. Stay strong.
