  1. at least they were trying to get it up on a flat bed that was at an angle, INSTEAD of onto a flat trailer. That would've cracked the car in half XP they had the wood to try and make the angle less steep so the car would go up. insta-fail though.
  2. yep, sounds like my water temp sensor is toasted i can BARELY get it to idle at 500-600 rpm, it smokes like a freak, and it has 0 power up till around 3500rpm, where the richness won't kill it too badly. i guess i'll buy one when i pick up a new fuel pump and new sparkplugs.
  3. I hope you didn't have any trunk monkey's in there when it was sealed up.
  4. so, how does your car run as far as it's richness? I have a feeling mine might need replacement (however, it could be the water temp sensor) i've got 0 power till 3500rpm, THEN it pulls. it runs rich as hell. If i restrict the fuel line going to the pump, it clears up, but it's running so rich that it barely idles at 500, and won't idle higher.
  5. except that car has a 700hp supercharged, nitrous injected v-8 and has PROOF of the show's that it's won haha even with the weird square headlights and taillights, i kinda like it. I usually don't like the 2+2's, but I think that whale tail is what makes me like it.
  6. it's the only time that 3 halves make 1 whole. this car works mathematically on the basis of illogical thinking ^^ and that's why we all love it.
  7. Your dash looks nicer than my 78's I also got mine for 900 bucks More pics though!!
  8. from the looks of it. You're pointing to the hose attached to that corroded fitting. That would be the output to the Heater Housing, which has the Thermal Vacuum valve attached to. Which THEN controls to a certian degree, how much exhausts the egr bleeds back into the system (i think) maybe your rich problem is the water temp sensor? i know if it's not working right, it would make your car run rich
  9. that's SCARY and at the same time impressive that the dude can get that truck on 2 wheels so smoothly, and at the exact angle he want's, with it looking so smooth.
  10. We should just push you over the fence then and get you to put them back on haha. it would look pretty killer with the fog lights back on.
  11. keep both, keep wide body as a project to focus on, and the other as your daily driver.
  12. Your 280 is sweet man. Maybe one day mine will compare with yours XP Same steering wheel as my beat up 78. Wood is definitely the way to go out in the heat!! Awesome vid (as always!) and an even more awesome sounding car.
  13. I found my fuel issue! a portion of the fuel line going to the pump (not stock, it's from a 325 i) had twisted, then dry rotted. the twisted section, had a hole about 3mm in diameter. i blew through it, and it felt like blowing through a stirring straw!! as soon as i cut that section out (the rest of the line was perfectly fine) and fired the car up, i could go WOT no problem. now i just need to charge my battery, it's dead. after i get that taken care of, i think i need to re adjust the TPS, and adjust the timing, along with cleaning some conections here and there. i've got bad memory. when i first tried to start it, it wouldn't start. i was thinking wtf, the pump is working.....2 seconds later, i run to the back and pull the clamp i had on the fuel line to keep it from leaking on me, and it fired up. it was also overheating, but i found it was because a combination of things the thermostat looked like crap and the gasket, HAH, it was rotted away the lower rad hose was bad, and was collapsing and a the hoses going to the heater housing/thermal vacuum valve were dry rotted. I'm just waiting on a couple little parts to come in the mail on monday/tues and it should run like a champ!
  14. they screw off so he can refil his tail lights with mayonnaise? makes sense, considering how it looks like he pulled the trunk release to see if the whole rear would hatch open like a GT car XP and i love what appears to be magic marker around teh tailights as his "template"
  15. or maybe he didn't care about how he was driving, and just wanted to have some fun with his brother XP
  16. you should see me play ddr after not sleeping for a couple days. I look like a drunken master on it. i haven't done any autocross, but i do play initial d in the arcade sometimes. same thing with me basically, i would go WHEE around all the turns, and i was shouting for a blue shell to throw at wario...or something. i fell asleep half way through a track. I played the 2 hour endurance for grand truismo 2. it was very boring going around the same track for 2 hours without actually moving. i was asleep for 1.5 hours of it. i won. I'd be VERY afraid to actually DRIVE a car after staying up for so long. give me a 2 hour nap and i'd be fine, but i'd never get in a car after being awake for so long. the longest i stayed awake was fri-sun, and by saturday i was drunk.
  17. I can't stop laughing! That's what happens when you don't sleep for 2 days, and you drink a can of monster every other hour!
  18. I like #1 in that redneck list haha. Oh SNAP I don't have 5 friends around here. just 2 or 3 i've been infected!!
  19. as of right know The Gremlin House. Why? Lots of little gremlins are living in my car's engine bay, and i'm havin to hunt them all out!
  20. well some computers won't download/play it automatically if you click a link to a file such as an MP3 or WMV (movie files and music files basically) Firefox plays it in Windows media in it's own tab, so i don't have to right click/save as.
  21. if it's an automatic, it could be going bad. my '90 bronco II started having transmission problems, and it would struggle a bit on hills (as in, the tranny would start to slip a bit going up hills) but really, we need to hear/see what's happening to know what's going on with it.
  22. I think I've just watched something akin to the birth of a new breed of gene spliced creature. (which of course, is pretty much impossible currently)
  23. I have a wire with alligator clips that run under the floor mat to the wires for the pump. one of the p/o's must've bypassed it for one reason or another. It just clips to the fuse box. The relay for mine works fine, so in my case as well, theft protection haha.
