  1. Ok first off I love the nice open space, the checker pattern on the floor, the lighting, the big screen tv and the cabinets. All it needs is a stove and a bed! Then you would never have to leave the garage! I cant stand drive on lifts. They are useless unless you are doing an alignment, if you ask me. Those cabinets could be filled with tools? Who knows? But I doubt it. I too would have a lot more tools and machining equipent present if I had as much money as this guy must have. Those video games can deffinetly go! Overall I thinks its a cool garage but it needs more functional things to work on cars and not so much bling bling. Guy
  2. I think you painted over the parts that I am looking for, for the T-tops. What kind of condition are the B-pillar trim pieces in? These peices... Also do you have the screw caps that go into the panel right behind the seats thats above your head? There are 2 in the panel. I could also use the ones that go into the rear panels(not sure how many there are but I could use them all! LOL) If you cant sell the t-tops then I just need the panesl that go on them on the interior side. The ones that are by the handles to pull them off. And the unlock knobs. I also need trim pieces that go around the opening but from your pics it looks like they are "broken" The holes where the locking pins go look like they are missing the ring around the edge? Guy
  3. Maybe the TQ from the LS1 is shifting the body/frame and causeing the windsheild to shift just enough to leak? Guy
  4. Looks nice! I personally dont care for the chrome look. Just because if you dont take extremly good care of it or buy really good chrome parts(good quality chrome) it will look like crap really fast. Guy
  5. Why cant all ebay ads be like that! Guy
  6. What color is the interior? I really need the T-top holders that go on the outside of the car on the instide edge of the t-top. They are the chrome peices on outside. How much do you want and what kind of condition are they in? I'll take that center console off your hands if you include the shift boot(outer boot) Guy
  7. Rob I love the wheels! I cant wait to see them on your Z. I wish I could have stayed to see that kid get pulled over! Thats a classic right there! Guy
  8. He was eyeing that thing up ever since he found out they were free! Then you left with out it and BAMB.....its in his hands! LOL I also got my first ride in a S30 turbo car heck for that matter I got my first ride in an S30. Thanks again Garret! I must also say that I was extremly impressed with the power that L28ET was putting out! I had no idea how a turbo cars power felt but dammmmmmmnnnnnnnn! I love it! Its not instant TQ like a V8 but when that boost comes on its sure feels like a V8! I swear to god Im going to have my car there next time! Its no fun driving my Dakota up there when you guys have your cars there! And I gotta show Ivan what a V8 can do! V8 hater! LOL Thanks again Mat for hosting the party. Hopefully next time we can have it on a Saturday so I can stay later. I would have loved to stick around but since I had a 2 hour drive I figure it was best to leave early incase I got lost on the way home! LOL Guy
  9. Is there a way to make the paint less easy to chip and scratch? Other than making my car a garage queen? Guy
  10. I have seen the multifunction switches on other makes of cars do stuff like this. I cant explain why but I have seen it. I also agree to check the bulbs first and replace if at all in question. Guy
  11. Yeah I know Mat, it does look nice. Im still on the fence on this one? I have found a few pics of the Herculiner and they dont look bad either. But the nice paint looks nice too. I just hate the thought of chipping it and scratching it all to hell! I dont know..........Im so confused! LOL Guy
  12. Yeah I like my gas tank in the back where its not the first thing to crush in a head on collision! Guy
  13. Im sure what you are suggesting has been tried. I doubt you are the first person to think of this. If it can be done then I dont see why more people arent doing it. So you want to use... *the Pre 86' flywheel *Post 86' Clutch & Pressure plate *with hydraulic throw out bearing Is that what you mean? Guy
  14. Yeah I havent even seen the Rhinoliner for sale for the general public but I can get it at work because we put it in truck beds. The Herculiner is roll on / brush on liner. I might buy a small can(1quart) and test it out. If I dont like it, its only $25 out the window! I could have sworn someone has used Herculiner on this board for somethiing? I'll try searching again for some pics... Guy
  15. Oh a CFDF will not be going back in! It had pretty good holding power but the clutch chatter drove me nuts! It wasnt just a little it made it sound like my motor was going to drop a rod through the oil pan when the cluch pedal wasnt pressed in! What are you guys recommendations? I priced out the LT4 set up today at work.....its about $750 for a disc, PP, flywheel, and throw out bearing. Its too high if you ask me for a stock set up. I have been looking at the SLP and Spec stage 2/3 set ups. Any experiences with these? Guy
  16. Here's some pics of my T56 flywheel and Center Force Dual Friction clutch. It started to chatter after about 500 miles of driving and it only got worse as time when on. When I resurfaced the flywheel it had some hot spots on it but I was too cheap to get a new one. Since after the machining they were gone I figured it would be ok ...now I wish I had bought a new flywheel! Now I have to buy a new clutch set up and a new flywheel! Big pic of clutch discAlmost to the rivets! Big pic of flywheelGot hotspots! Guy
  17. Ok then no Hammerite pics will be needed. One more questions.... Can you apply those liners with a paint gun or are they strictly roll on/brush on? Thanks, Guy
  18. That is too funny! I bet the prisoner making that plate thought it was funny! .............or maybe he didnt, I mean that might mean something in prison! Guy
  19. According to my GTech Pro Comp, my 3000lbs 280ZX(guesstiment?) goes 0-60mph in about 4.5 seconds. Thats with 225/45/17's street tires. Now I would imagine if I had some nice sticky tires it would drop down a good amount since I wouldnt have to baby it out of the "hole". But traction is deffinetly a major factor for V8 Z's. Guess what even if the S2000 had a 0-60 in 3secs and the V8 Z with 350HP/350TQ had a 0-60 in 5 seconds it wont be long before the Z is blowing past that S2000 like the wind! Guy
  20. I have been thinking about not painting my engine bay the same as the color that will be used for the whole car. Since I painted the engine bay before I put the new motor/tranny in I know that I dont like it. I liked it at first but after having to wrench on engine a few times I know that the paint chips way to easy and I want to be able to touch up spots when needed. I like the looks of the bedliners when they are in truck beds, so I figured something like that will suit my needs. I just need some pics of some of the commonly used liners or products of similar quality. It must be resistance to gas, oil, brake fluid, etc. I know Herculiner says it is but is Rhinoliner? Thanks, Guy
  21. How old are you? Im just 22.... so Im not too old! Guy
  22. Yeah their about as aerodynamic as a brick! LOL Seriously the GEN1 bodies arent as aerodynamic as they look. However with addition such as airdams, side skirts and rear skirts it does help. Of course lowering it will also help. I also agree a good dyno tune and not driving like a maniac will help a lot! But what fun is it driving like a normal human being when you've got the power on tap? Phantom your a cheater! You've got that nice LS1 in there! Thats not fair to compare to a carb'd 350. I dont think he'll pull even 20mph on a carb'd engine. Guy
  23. Some pics from the "BOB & TOM" website.... Guy
  24. Okay then I'll bring'er down! Atleast then I will know how acurate my times are once you know what yours are from the track! All you need to know is how much your car weights. Guy
