  1. I would love to have one for the same location the tirerack is on FlatBlack's car
  2. Used the Marine Clean on the tank today and it looks fantastic! The inside of the tank literally looks brand new with zero rust. I think I'm still going to go through with the coating though. It'll only make things go more smoothly in the future.
  3. I definitely agree with the spindle pins being a great design, but the price for a NOS set seems to reflect the fact that they're NOS parts. Definitely still running bushings rather than heim joints for now. Just installed energy suspension red poly all around. They do seem to be quite tight everywhere though. It was a pain getting the rear control arms on as well as getting the pins into the bushing inserts as well. Jon, I would definitely appreciate it if you knew what an appropriate length for the 5/8 bolt would be so I can make sure the fastener shop local to me will have something in stock in a min of grade 8 in a week when I'm home again
  4. I was wondering what you guys replaced your spindle pins with. In my searching I see some people using long bolts, and others using allthread cut to length. Mine came out fairly easily, but I managed to compress the threads on one end of each pin slightly, and cleaning them up with a die isn't letting me get my new locknuts on. I see that MSA sells a NOS set for about $65, which might be the way to go. I'm currently out of town, and wanting to get the proper hardware ordered so I can install it when I return, so any input from you guys is very appreciated! Thanks, Ryan
  5. Another option would have been POR-15's Marine Clean. 2 quarts of it came with my gas tank coating kit, so I'll let you know how it turns out! The whole thing cost less than $80 locally, so it wasn't a huge investment. $350 to clean and coat a stock tank is ridiculous! I thought the $160 the rad shop here quoted was too much. Maybe I'm just too cheap.
  6. Let me know if you're still looking by Saturday!
  7. Being a ChemEn major, I personally found this to be pretty funny
  8. Do a compression/leakdown test. The dipstick likely got blown out from pressure building up inside of the crankcase. Have you verified that you were only boosting to 12 psi? It sounds like you might have an issue with the EBC and overboosted.
  9. Just as the title says, I'm looking for a complete poly bushing kit for my Z. The brand isn't a huge factor, since they all seem to be up to par. Please PM me with pics and an asking price including shipping to zip code 99337 Thanks, Ryan

I have a Greddy that should suit your needs. PM me if interested
  11. I read through your cardomain and it really looks great! Are you running the burnt orange from the newer corvettes? I've been toying with house of kolor kandy tangerine with the same wheels in gold, so I'm very pleased to see your combination
  12. Very clean looking swap! Which clutch are you running now? I couldn't find a thread with more pics of the body work/paint/wheels. Have any to show off? What color is it? I'm loving the paint and wheel combo!
  13. One more run at the top before a new batch will be ready from Bad Dog Parts
  14. Thanks Owen I've never been a fan of the feature, so I haven't used it on the new software.
  15. It's already a feature called "subscribed threads".
  16. I've got a 4 speed from a 72 that you can have for the cost of shipping. PM me if you're interested
  17. I have one from a 72, and one from a 73 if you're interested in shipping. Also able to have them cleaned/coated if that's something you're looking to have done too. PM me if interested.
  18. I would be looking for someone who is parting a car out to grab the piece from. Drill out the spot welds and everything should come free with a little cutting. If you pull one from a car that's already in decent shape I think you'd be better of for the fitment.
  19. I don't think there have been too many people out there that have picked these up and not used them, but if you have a set they're on my parts list Looking for the front and rears to fit a 240z. Thanks for looking, Ryan
  20. If you PM a mod they're generally very good about making any edits you need to have done if you type everything out how you want it to read. Then they are able to hit "quote" and just copy and paste it in.
  21. What are the dimensions of the tank? You could relocate the battery to the spare tire well and put the methanol tank in the battery tray area.
