  1. I haven't received any messages from anyone since the new board update, and I have gone through and made sure that I have less than 100 messages total in my inbox. I thought it was rather weird, since I tend to get several messages every day, but I haven't been selling anything since I sold the ECU and AFM to you. I definitely shipped them out to you via USPS. I've been buying and selling on here ever since I got my Z and joined, and I've been selling elsewhere online since 2003. Haven't had an issue I couldn't resolve fairly quickly yet Send me an email at ryan.p.a.clark@gmail.com, and I can discuss things further with you. Has anyone else been having issues with PM's since the update? edit: I just went through to look at my PM's. When I went through a few hours after the update our private message limit had been dropped from 200 down to 100. Now it seems like it's been dropped down to 50 since then... In the process of cutting it down some more.
  2. Since you can weld, it might be worth your time to touch up the welds that connect the primaries to the flange. Can't tell for sure, but they look like they may be of some concern from this pic. You'll definitely be able to tell when you have them in front of you.
  3. jkgts1, is that one of the stamped "DATSUN" cut outs that were for sale on here that you shaved the rear with? Some more pics on it would be great. Between that, the carbon ZG flares, and the satin black, your car is looking really good so far!
  4. Don't know if I'm too late, but the sides DO matter. I don't have mine with me here at school, but I know one is longer than the other. A quick search should turn up which is which. Also, you can close/lock your own threads
  5. Definitely going to be going with "no areo" on my Z! I'm planning on a BRE style front air dam, ZGs, fender mirrors and a 3 or 5 inch BRE style rear spoiler while shaving the side markers, antenna, rear bumper, and drip rails I'll have a stock satin black front bumper to match my blacked trim. I'm still debating on shaving the "c" pillar emblems and blending the headlight buckets though... I've never been a fan of the type 2 or 3 stuff from MSA, but I think the type 1 air dam looks great!
  6. Same with me. All of my links used to open in tabs, but that's not the case any more. I know it's a setting in your browser, but my browser hasn't changed and it still works as it should for other sites
  7. Also, I've noticed that a lot of pictures aren't working anymore, along with the thumbnails. For example, I can see that there's supposed to be a pic in Ryan's sig in post #7, but it showing the image of a torn picture.
  8. I texted him right after posting asking what v6 swap he did and never got a reply
  9. I can view the pictures by clicking them now, but all of the thumbnails are broken, so I can't see what I'm clicking before I do. Also, center clicking them doesn't open them in a new tab anymore like it used to. Glad to see we have quick/fast reply back Thanks for all of the work you've been putting in Dan!
  10. Having spent a lot of time on forums, no one likes it when they change, but everyone gets used to it within a month or two. You won't even think about the old forum lay-out before you know it HybridZ is still the same, just a different look!
  11. I'm using chrome, and I'm assuming it's the most recent version, but I haven't been prompted for any updates recently. The also don't show up like they normally do with the thumbnails. It's very similar to when you're logged out.
  12. I don't know of this is an issue for anyone else or not, but I am having issues viewing any attached images on the site. It says I don't have permission to do so. Please advise, Ryan
  13. There are a few things that I'm not a huge fan of, but overall I actually like the body work and the car. It's a decent take on a "new-age" z! I could live without the red honey-comb, tails, badging, and frenched hatch, but I like it
  14. Any idea what the consequences have been for those 7 sellers in LA county?
  15. We'll likely get a lot more votes if there is a separate thread for each category, with all of the appropriate choices in the first post with a poll at the top. With that said, I'll have a vote in tomorrow! It's getting late here...
  16. Or a laser temp gun to compare EGTs.
  17. This could work, considering sellers can't leave negative feedback on buyers now. The only way to get a negative feedback comment is while selling.
  18. Search for r200 swap. It's been covered over several times I know what you're looking for is out there, and as a hint, I don't think you'll like the answer.
  19. Do you have the dimensions of the radiator? It would be nice to see how it would fit in an s30
  20. I have a set on my Z, but I went with them rather than doing a full tear down and rebuild on my other set before they went on the car. Let me tell you, it's nice having everything not corroded and moving freely like it should. Shiny is always a plus too Value wise, I'm not too sure. I picked mine up from a member here, so I didn't pay as much as a new set. For the price it seems like you could convert to a stand-alone ems for a few hundred more and be better off, but for the price I paid I'm happy! I'll be pulling them off this summer when I add my turbo if you're still looking then.
  21. I'm guessing the easiest way to for the housings would be to bend some sheet around a section of 8" (I'm guessing here, for 7" lights) OD pipe and cut at the correct angle to weld on.
  22. You will most definitely be able to keep your crank! You can also keep your flywheel/pp/clutch/slave as long as you keep the same throw-out bearing collar. It's worth it to change the bearing while you have the trans down, and consider doing the clutch at the same time if it is going to need it anytime soon.
