  1. Bought this on black friday for $150, and I'll have to say it was probably the best value I've come across. It has most of what you'll use all of the time, and I picked it up as my "second" set of tools, even though my primary set was made of a hodge podge of quality. It really is nice having everything in one unit with the pull-out trays that you can take wherever you need to work on your car http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10155_12602_00936260000P?keyword=mechanics+tool+set
  2. Personally, I've never been a fan of of the type three stuff, though I must admit that deja's skirts came out looking very clean!
  3. Gentlemen, the day has come! Pricing on the manifold sounds fair in my opinion
  4. Everything I posted is what I can think of off the top of my head, so there's way more than I'm ever expecting to see
  5. Where did you find the money tucked away at? Btw, "saving" posts on here doesn't work, as you can't edit a post more than 24 hours(iirc) after it's posted.
  6. Personally, I think that design looks cheap and tacky. Looks like someone typed "HybridZ.org" into microsoft wordart... I'm a huge fan of the traditional site logo! Things I would like to see: 1) Vinyl "HybridZ" in while letters for the top of the windshield 2) Some kind of keychain 3) Possible misc interior pieces (shift knobs, pull handles, think of the billet aluminum pieces in the group buy section) 4) Fender covers for when working on cars 5) Apparel - shirts/hats/sweatshirts/etc. 6) Posters of select Zs from members (obviously with permission) with the site logo somewhere on it. I've always wanted to find posters of some of the cars from here, but haven't been able to find anything remotely close. 7) Coffee mug/clock/other "souvenir" items
  7. I think hybridZ is big enough to support a site store that sells apparel, stickers, lanyards, etc. I think it would bring in a pretty decent income to support the site. Here's an example of a forum I used to frequent quite awhile ago. http://www.pbnation.com Link is right up in the user CP area, nothing too flashy, yet easy to find. Directs to a very basic yahoo site: http://www.pbnationstore.com/index.html
  8. Have one you can have for free, just have to pick it up
  9. Are you all interested in a set for a 280z, or a 240z? I have a full suspension from a 73 that I'll be sectioning right after the new year
  10. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/1484875085.html
  11. Sorry, but I think I may have a new addition to my sig!
  12. Ive done it before.... dont know if its legal.

  13. Yeah. Im making an ammo display of some sort. I think at this point I have like 25 rifle rounds of different sorts, 20 handgun rounds (some variations of same round) and like 4 different gauges of shot shells. Got a few coming up from my sisters boyfriend including a 50 bmg tracer. :) You mentioned 243 and 30-06, those are two rounds I dont have yet.

As far as pistol rounds im still looking for 40SW and then 380acp.

    Thanks

  14. How much port work has been done on your n42? If it's decent, you should be able to put it on the f54 block if you run a pretty aggressive cam to help lower your dynamic compression ratio. Ditch the dual webers on eBay and pick up a set of stock SU carbs. Round tops work well for mild street applications, and it's entirely possible to feed a strong fun engine with them. They're fairly straight forward to tune, and are reliable when set up properly. Let everything breathe through the header you have with a 2.5" free flowing exhaust and you'll have a decently potent street engine that you can run on 91 octane
  15. Hey, just curious if you still want to get rid of some ammo. I ended up getting a live 308 so thats one less on the list. :) Let me know. Hope your having a good break.

  16. Looks like an awesome find! How much did you get it for?
  17. Sorry man! The computer I have it saved on is now effectively a paperweight...
  18. Update: Hood off (it got latched while I was gone, and the release cable wan't hooked up). Visual inspection of block - everything looks good. Visual inspection of drained water - looks like rusty water, free of oil. Visual inspection of oil - looks like like oil, water free. Pulled plugs and the engine turns over very easily by hand - no caved in cylinder walls holding anything up. Currently tearing through the garage looking for for my compression tester, as everything got moved while I was gone... Will post up the final result before the sun rises
  19. I don't think I over-did it, and as mentioned before, I'm not the quickest with the feeler gauges. I had to stop half way through and warm things up again, so adjusting some valves "warm" rather than hot might account for the difference. It definitely wasn't significantly tighter by any means.
  20. Unknown to many, blood has a very high ZDDP content, and helps make up for the lack of it in modern oils. It should definitely help with cam wear I adjusted mine to the cold spec, and found that I was still getting a lot of noise, so I adjusted them hot. Still had some noise, but it was better. Has anyone else had to go tighter than the FSM specs to get everything to stay quiet?

What IS that thing?! Please tell me you have a few more pictures! Whatever it is, it would be just fine if it lost the sunroof
  22. Looks like you've done a fine job at preserving your solid looking floors from the inside
  23. odd? It's showing up just fine for me... edited with a link too
