  1. Hey, Big Phil............ Where in Maine did you live? I had a great time in my teens, on vacations on Frye Island, In lake Sebago. The LOBSTER was Great!!!!
  2. It's been a while since I've been in the state of Ecstasy. Usually in the state of New Jersey, Ringwood:grin:
  3. I'm still working on My system. I have a mint Pioneer sx1250 and some newer Jbl's. http://www.silverpioneer.netfirms.com/SX-1250.htm Looking for the SX1980 at a decent price.
  4. Michelin . About a third more than others!!!.......then uniroyal. Not fond of pirelli (auto), lots of shifted belts. No experience with yokohamas on trucks, but I like them on cars, my #2 choice.
  5. Im gonna help my son out here. 1993 dodge mini van......free courtesy of DAD......yrs later traded it in on a 99 dakota... now..05 g35x. The boy has learned a lot........WISH I had a G35X
  6. I graduated high school in 1977. Got my first Z i 78/79 ....can't remember. Had the Dodge Super Bee first,. Passed it on to my younger brother as a freebie! He ran the balls off it!!!!! My youngest brother has it now.
  7. I worked on a manta or 2. What I remember most was the fuel sloshing around behind me in the gas tank. VERY LOUD....Didn't need a fuel guage. Sloshing stops....Get gas.....
  8. Suspension. Safety, and function first. And if you're quick enough through the curve.....you'll leave the exhaust noise behind........
  9. :mparty::mparty:Hopefuly, you did not have to resort to begging. Btw, 10 is only my datsun count. I will have a total tally a bit later

  12. Sounds like an exhaust gasket leak. Seems to be louder on the drivers side (exhaust side), than the passenger side. Also gets louder when the throttle is cracked open. Very characteristic of an exhaust leak at the head.
  13. I do a couple of alignments a week. To the best of my knowledge, toe is usualy in inches. Camber in degrees, as is caster. Not sure you can convert the last 2 into inches...or why you would want to????
  14. First check coolant. If low top off. Check for extenal leaks. If engine temp (on guage) changes when problem occurs, possible head gasket. Also unexplained coolant loss is another tip off. NOT UNCOMMON.
  15. :hs:I'm not 100% sure, of the gender of that there turbo.
  16. I have the Arizona manifold, a car tech, and also this clifford. I've searched and found good info on the Arizona, but not much on the other 2. I'm really qurious as to how the clifford manifold stacks up against the Arizona. Any info/expereince would be appreciated.
  17. Header leaks are common. So you MAY need a gasket. That would not cause a hard start. I have not used it, but there is such a thing as the "fuel injection bible". You need to approach your problem analyticaly. You need a manual. Check the resitance of your coolant temp sensor. Very important.....as are other things..Good Luck.
  18. If it's not block heater related...I'd guess it is an ambient temp sensor, for temperature display. Common place for this sensor.
  19. I wouldn't think you had a bad head gasket. All a little on the low side. Maybe your guage is off. BUT,....... they are all within 10% (very close) of each other which is a good thing. Is there a problem you have, or are trying to solve????
  20. :sad:ThANKS FOR REMINDING ME. I sold my 67 camaro, rs/ss convertible, ss350 for for a lousy $2300.00 back in 1982. Don't ask me about the 68 GTO CONVERTIBLE %#*&*&((^%&^&C^^DFFI*
