Yeah sure.. here is a rundown on the motor and what I am running. stock bore L28ET block forged JE pistons stock forged rods and crank Nismo Metal HG Rebuilt P90head 3angle valve job with port matching Garrett 50 trim T3/t4 turbo - Ported exhaust housing to match gasket and manifold PTP Turbo Blanket Non turbo "A" cam Tial 38mm external wastegate 3" downpipe and exhaust 440CC injectors 65mm TB 2.5" aluminum IC piping bar and plate front mount IC 50mm tial BOV shaved and ported intake manifold ported exhaust manifold Aluminum radiator dual 12" zirgo electric fans aluminum fuel rail Walbro 255 fuel pump Magnecor plug wires Mega-squirt and Spark ECU
  3. I have a Garrett T3/T4E 50 trim with a stage 3 exhaust wheel. I have loved this turbo and it matches the L28ET very well. I get 20 psi around 3K or so depending on what RPM you start at. Boost really does not fall off between shifts and makes good power. I made right at 390-400 wheel HP and 400 lbs TQ on pump at 20psi. Are there better turbo's out there? Yes. but for the price It wasn't worth it to me. If you have the money, GT30R would be good or a comparable Borg Warner variant.

  8. Well I sold the S13 vert and picked up this for my new DD. It is a 91 Infiniti M30.. It is from Cali so no rust and seems to be super clean! My plans for it are to put suspension, wheels, tint , pretty nice stereo and just drive it. Maybe eventually 5spd swap..

  10. thats the difference in the NA vs turbo applications, coolant passages blocked. From the post above about the tomei, Is it designed for the turbo application or NA? I am running a l28ET bottom end with a mildly ported P90 head.
  11. I saw the HG's for non turbo applications.. I am running a Turbo L28 and make aroud 400 wheel. I would need the 1mm turbo HG.
  12. I have a Nismo HG that is well used and it is starting to leak a bit until the car is warm. I have been looking for one to replace it but have not been able to find a source.. Anyone know if any places still sell these for the good ole L28ET?

  14. One of our Very own built one a while back. Selvin Scott AKA ScottieGNZ used to have a GN powered 240Z. He got rid of it and moved onto a GN powered FC RX7. He ended up selling the GN power train and switched to 2JZ power. One night at the track, he had traction loss half track and crashed the car. He was fine (relatively speaking) thanks to the safety equipment and cage but the car was done. He found a super clean Fox shell and put the 2JZ in it. I believe he has made several mid 9 sec passes on it and he has done a really good job with the build. I would say maybe even cleaner then the one from the article. It just shows how with some know how, hard work and a great engine/car combo, amazing things can happen.

  17. Are you still looking for an full IC setup? I am going to be getting rid of my entire IC setup.. It will drop right in. I made 390 RWHP and 390 TQ and ran the 1/4 in 11.5@122 with this setup.
  18. We had a rather large car meet here last weekend. Gulf Coast Autowerks put on the event titled Farewell To Winter. The Z's showed up in FORCE! We probably had 30-40 Z's from the one and only S30 (me) to a bunch of Z32's, Z33s and a couple 370Zs and even G35s. We even had a couple R35s come. The white was is a buddy of mines. He has exhaust and a tune and runs 10's down the 1/4. Total there were 468 cars and 1100 people. It was a good time and it was held at our down town cruise terminal parking garage. The museum is epic and I think Mr Barber has over 1500 bikes in it.   22. Oh man!! looks like soo much fun!!.. I would like to get my Z ready for some track days at No Problem raceway over near New Orleans.. We also have a track kinda near by called Little Taladaga and eventually get on Barbers Motorsports track..One day.... one day!!!
