  1. hahah you have to be the first to have problem with room in a s130 lol! but i like your style! modyfiyng for the hell of it!
  2. How long is a stock zxt 5 speed driveshaft ? as i plan on modifying an aluminum nascar one i have a lead one (cheap lead that is) but i wonder how long they are stock, anybody ?
  3. hmm intresting it could also be a 300 disc but 4 lug hub, thatway utilizing 300 brakes
  4. well the classic a frame seems to do its job, as zx's are know to twist in the front area. I just dont see how 1" room ( so OEM way) between the rad is a problem in normal operating ( i can see the advantage when tooling) However i would move everyting back as far asposible, since weight infront of the strut is not good! Frank
  5. have you guys seen this reinforcmenet any ideas WHY as the a frame seems more 'productive'i really dont understand the tubing that goes from the tower forward
  6. so the z31 bolts up to the s130 arm, and then you use the z31 knuckles? is it to much to ask if you can mark what part comes of what on the pic !
  7. hmm now that is a good idea, how did it affect ride height? any pictures of that ?
  8. yes please pictures, and this should become a sticky in my opinion !
  9. RB as VG requires two holes for turbos to stick out for starters ( grec dupree did this ) ask him
  10. so yu mean you need a 300 axle of two cars ??? any pictures or better discription of this swap ? it would make a great sticky !
  11. wow you have some camber on the stock 15'in the rear, did you use camber plates ? as your new wheels dont seem to do this
  12. i adapted the hub ( 5 lug) and made spacer and have flares, but i have 17" 10 J on the back and 8,5 upfront
  13. Just ad some Packer mudflaps , anyhow why not use that beater you could by ( my lead) and use that for muddin ( built a rally car) You can use some Tein units and adapt them $$ though
  14. I hope not that stuf out of that big blue canister you used to have in your kitchen ( yes that stuff that had green fumes) anyhow did you check the damage ? call you in few
  15. I really like the camaro lights, the seem pretty straight forward to install... ooh and lets nog forget r32 lights
  16. Xander did you clean the oilpan with something prior to install, like brakecleaner orso ?
  17. Cool i have seen that white one in chicago in 2002 is that possible i was driving my zxt
  18. uuuhm yeah like the 240 bumper is going to be of any help in case of a wreck .. i think a fuel cell could be best, but i dont think removing the bumper will make t any worse ( used to euro bumpers i have to give that) but they are tin foil look parts
  19. wow Vinh you keep on working, you hopped to the 'darkside':) in an s30 Love your spider solution so it still lookslike a Z, wonder how this will come out... anyway do something about that oversprayed doorhandles and all, and as stated before that damn moonroof AKA garbage LID lol In those pictures i could detect some polyuterane bushings, so you might not have to much work there Frank
  20. Well a 2mm HKS gasket or home built ( with help og our machinist friend ) Anyway im pretty glad with the qench area in my NA f54 'flat' top piston combo with n42 shaved head LOL getting me in the 1:10.9 / 1:11 like we just discovered in our phone call, but for boost ... hmm well on teh other hand do 3.1 ltr stroker guys manage to run upto 2 bar of pressure ????? given the have prolly installed some forged pistons.. ohh well i say a 2mm HG would do it as said it will bring you down to ~1:8.9/ 1:9 witch would work as you take care of the 'extra raised pad effect' lets see how long this Nissan gasket will hold up ! Or yet better you finally get to mess with your water injection, lucky YOU!
  21. I just had a ide, as i was going trhough my parts, i found coild pacs of a z32tt, would this be a good upgrade on l28et since i would have 6 coils, and i will use MSnS anyway ... just wondering ideas , hasit been done ?
  22. This is the earlier type RSM is a multi-functional device that will track lap time, 0-100meter, 0-400meter (quarter-mile) time as well. The item can be wired into any vehicle looking to keep track of the performance of their vehicles performance. Installation instructions are available on-line, we can help locate them if the winning bidder cannot find them. Everything is in great used condition and perfect working order. There are no major scratches on the item. not bad a 70 bucks also this guy ships so fast it is impossible !! Lol and delevired me a wiring diagram and all for my sard meter, and hks EGT!!
  23. well i like the YZ flares, and blue ovals... well you have to be very skilled, though for all these flares some skills or deep pockets for bodyshops are a must! I since im a student, and broke welded on z31 Flares ( 86 and up) they dont add that much 'meat' like 3 " most, but as im running 10 J rims, i did not need more, however they visually add much more! as they start to widen smoother look at my website.. Anyway it is possible to fit a whole lot of cars flares, as long as you are skilled upto a certian level, you can make anything fit everything .BTW i like the r32 GTR lights
  24. well i think a zx steers better, and given good suspension handles really well!! and yes better than a s30 in my opinion! the chassis is stronger, and they do outlast the s30 in streetable power, AND at 100+ they are defenatly nicer to ride . i dunno what would happen with a v8 upfront. also they are not that heavy, like everybody always claims. Loads of people go out to buy a 240 and claim it is SO light... yeah right!!! that is before the R200, brake upgrades, turbo manifold and intake etc etc ... that stuff does weigh in ! As for electrical gremlins ??? i never had one The rear suspension can be upgraded pretty easy as race 510 and newmans 280zx had basicly modified stock set ups!! but im biasd
