  1. what side you need? i know there was one on ebay a while ago, and i have a lead on a gascapside otherwhise w a yardcar would be a good option!
  2. Btw those are prolly CM's not Inches Yeah Xander that mad wire docter!
  3. DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL that is just SEXY!
  4. I know you are not dealing with the front but here a pic of the z31 flare up front Here the back, not notably built but more gentle, What i wanted on this car ( thoug a YZ style would have been good !!) I dont have pictures of this completly finished yet, but im getting there. As for the rear section it runs relativly flat, as said by datsunlover ... it is teh easy here some pics. It is actually a reversed z backsection welded on there Good luck hope thsi helps
  5. The dash... wel is not made as far as i n know, granted, a carbon fibre dash doe snot do anything peformancewhise, or timeoriginal whise in my opinion, so i never looked into it, as for the rest bring out the welder and sheet metal ...! check my site for some ideas, i used flares of a 86 z31, as i like the subtilenes ( much like a 350 i came to discover when one was parked next to my project) But in fact you can use any wheelwell of any car ( hobout 944 style) I also got my hands on a Gnose !! not bad at all on a ZX As for teh tails, i built in R32 GTR Skylines units. and shaved the whole bumber, I have no clue if i went right about this yet, only time will tell, but it is doable, ( only look at what blue oval did!) http://www.datsun280zx.tk
  6. Supra 480CC dont know what year (anyone) they look like this) and are O rail !
  7. http://www.datsun280zx.tk updated my site, look under restauration progress progress.. Can' t wait to have her ready! some sneak preview !!
  8. That wing is stock in europe, they do fit its desing perfectly, i fitted one on a zx coupe... perfect fit
  9. i read something about the 'fogger' kit that came with a rpm sensitive trigger, being perfect for spool up boost ...
  10. jep that looks like a patrol engine ( or better is ) , the heads of teh l28's are a weakspot though, they tend to crack internally !
  11. There are opel Pistons ( vauxhall) forged ones that fit, the are presumably the same diameter and have the same pin heigt, i need to get the partnumebr for you, but i cant do that untill next week, since they guy that did this to his rallyZ is in teh Parisdakar PM me next week so i wont forget!!
  12. + it is the 'evil' exhaust liner, i have seen this on blownheadgaskets ( or leaking) before, or it could be really lean like i once saw on a Turbo exhasutmanifold (that xandar had) it was also allmost platinum white. On teh other hand, that engine is not the Original engine for a 79, those to my knowledge only came with the n42/n42 combo, this is a n47 witch is 81/82 and not that common ( at least not the longest used) But i would do a compression test, or better take teh head of, check it out, and maybe swap for a n42 ( since the liners are havely debated) or rebuilt the head. cause this looks like this cant have been running without doing some damge
  13. ben then you discovered you mesured tehm wrong the other day right ? let us know what comes out of that, since liek you said teh engine does look pretty decent, that does not go well with such worn pistons generally
  14. maybe tryinga Supra forum, anyone know one any good? or call a toyota dealer ( or better two componies to verify) and asks them. that might work right ? Then there is the question if the dont differ for the diffrent markets.... but its a good idea for sure !

    awd hybrid

i have thought of it nemerous times, and when time and $ permits i will try, either with a patrol set up or even better would be a skyline.... it will not be simple i take... but just cool to do Frank
  16. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4516880708&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Since they are pretty rare in teh US, i found a set of euro JDM lences it is plug and play on my car, and has nice 'driving' lights well take a look, i think it looks bettre in a z31 ( or s130) and on top it is OEM ! They look to be in MINT shape too well just a heads up! since i had seas of time to surf ebay today hehe http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33716&item=7945102757&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW Found some euro tails on Ebay, figured i would give you guys a heads up, since they are hard to find in the US intresting for the final touches... *sigh* damn i need to do allot on my project
  17. I have the distinct feeling i saw these p86 Pistons before though in my NA application, very curious how it will turn out on Xanders car, since i have a coupe waiting to be boosted after my Targa US spec Turbo is done
  18. that is exactly what im going for on my s130 only not a slick, more in the 80's style.... the dbs alway had that shape !
  19. Well the smaller exhaust house is not to small it is just what you want to do with car! i even have a 48 but i want a road car/track car not a drag car and i want boost of the line, and a responsive turbo But yeah i heard bad stuff about top end aswel, never dealt with them in person though Later Frank
  20. Wait until he gets the megasquirt in than it will be gone To think that valve cover is of a l20ET haha it will have the time of its life there!! sweet job gabe you are one step ahead of me ( or actually alot you have paint
  21. That is a seriously cool project, and very crafty metalwork!! any way you can get a prize on that shell!!! that would make an awsome project! Frank
  22. You are describing the JANSSPEED KIT it was 'common' in the UK since they did not get the Turbo there, the single su desing.... nah ... haha that is my opinion,. It would be cool in a 240 for the time original look though!!
  23. will drive ther next summer aswell in my zxt , living in europe has its advantages he when are you going maybe we can go at the smae time!
  24. Well im not objecting, if you really want to, go for it, but i do not see the time and effort paying off, since there is not a whole lot of diffrende, though how would you try to get the lines of the side to stay correct? But im al for loosing bumber, though earodynamics will suffer... There is also a MJP GNOSE on teh market for the s130, maybe that is more your thing !! http://www.mjpauto.com/ or the ISMA kit Frank For your engine? What are your goals?
