I was browsing Skylines Australia the other day and came across the HKS GT-RS kit. It includes all the stuff needed to put it on and what not. Ive never swapped a turbo before or even took one off for that matter so I was thinking this might be a good bolt on for me seeing as I wont have to chase around a lot of little parts. Says its rated at 400hp at ~12psi and isnt too over the top expensive. What do you guys think? Click Here

When I changed the headgasket on my L series, I had the timing a tooth off and the car was gutless even when floored. It's important to get it spot on, after retarding it one tooth it ran a whole lot better.

Can you give me a link to what resistor it is please? There's different watts and what not, I've been trying to figure out how to get mine working for a while with no luck. What is wire 49? is that coming off the coil packs?

Im going to be doing the fuel lines soon. I really hate messing with the tank because it always ends up being a pain in the butt, should be fun haha. Ill certainly be following this thread. I didnt really know a whole lot way back when I got my fuel pump, it was one of those Summit Racing ones thats a little better then the stock RB25 one. I wish I would have bought a Walbro one though...

Got a throw out bearing for the RB25 to get rid of that annoying sound. Starting to pull the RB.

Now I don't know if this is just a rumor or something, but I have heard that EJ257 injectors for a 2005? Subaru Impreza Sti (usdm only I believe) are a direct drop in replacement for the RB25. Apparently they are 444cc sidefed injectors and they can be had cheaply. All this seems too good to be true, are these facts?

Alright, sounds good. I'll probaly pick up one of those eBay dump pipes with the wastegate separater pipe and hack the flange off that then reweld it on. Thanks for all the help.

I got a fan and shroud combo from Summit Racing for a pretty good price. They have a large selection of sizes so you could probably find something for your needs.

Those are pretty slick devices. Unfortunatly I haven't had the pleasure of playing with one.

Happy about that, sure saves me some bucks.

alright, well I appreciate the input from you guys. This is the first time Ive made a real big aftermarket purchase so I was a little anxious. One last question hahaha, It looks like JGY only sells them with the 5 bolt exhaust side, instead of the six bolt like the stock RB25 turbo. They say that they include some sort of flange or something for the dump pipe. Anybody come across a 5 bolt dump pipe that fits the [stock?] downpipe (Im running a McKinney one). Like this: Click me
