Hey Jb i have the seats and the brackets ready to go ....just waiting for the snow to melt.....the bride brackets are a perfect match to my late 260z brackets. From just eyeballing....it looks like they will drop right in ....i will post pics soon when weather permits.

I've also ordered a few times from rhdjapan ...never really had a problem ...they refunded me 160 bucks when I noticed a couple scratches on the back of my seats for wetsand/polishing fees. Sites a bit of a pain on the smart phone but finally found the kameari 138mm rods !

Did you punch him out! Sorry to see that dude.....i know its after the fact but my insurance told me to get an appraisal and that appraisal is the value of my car and what i get back if anything happens.

^^ That height doesn't look too bad too me ....im 5,9 are you really tall ?.....i have bride sliders coming as well ...is that what your using ? Also what year is your car?

Well i will tell you guys theres not much info out there on aftermarket racing buckets for our cars ...and the reason being is so few of them will actually fit !!! Are cars are too small and without HEAVY MODS you are kinda stuck with the seats that have been covered on this site already ...small brides will work small ...cobras ...and small corbeaus .... i have seen small omps in earlier Zs as well but theres not many choices for after market racing buckets. I went with the bride vios because theres a couple guys on here that have fit them but anything over 22 inches at the ears and your hitting unless you modify heavily. I have searched and searched and searched and theres not that many choices.

I got a set of vios 3 sport c on the way ....will post my results ....from my calculation they should pop right in ...they might need a massaging with a sledge but I'm pretty sure they will get in there .

Yes I think we have the same rails mine are 13 inches across measuring from center of hole

^^^ are your seat rails 13 inch from left to right mounting holes ? I have a 10/74 260z and am looking at bride rails ....they make them for our cars but the dimensions listed under my year are totally different from where my mounting points are.

I'm not sure from what I'm reading 17.5 inch max in a 280 without tunnel bashing and I'm not sure how much you gain with the smash ...and I think in this thread or another it states the 240z can get 20 inches at rear base ....so maybe that's where you would end up with the smash .....idk I want buckets ...bride / recaro but the ones that are small enough to fit have too short of a harness measurement for me .......the zeta III type XL measurement wise fir me perfectly but might be to wide for my 260z ....won't know until I try .

Ok so what i got so far from this thread is with no tunnel bashing we can fit 21.5 inches at the ears and it wont hit the door .....but with tunnel bashing we can almost get away with 23 inches at the ears according to sunny z post above as fx1 pros are 22.5 inches wide at the ears according to its dimension chart..... So with the tunnel bashing, that opens up alot more options .......i am going to try fitting bride zeta III type xl as there dimensions are pretty close to the corbeau fx1 pro..... hopefully this work.....

I'm in the same boat you are ........the only way to cut the cost is to find someone who wants your arizona rear setup ...take that cash and put it towards the TTT setup ........it's a great setup just a little too late to the party for most here I'm sure . -
I would just have it shipped ups ....just looking for block ...not a whole motor ...how much you want for the crank ?

What transmission are all you guys running with these setups ....I'm in the middle of putting together an L28et and planning on running 350-400hp ....what tranny is reliable for that ..maybe we can start adding whAt tranny everyone's running as well
