  1. Sadly, my project just started. But I need to finish it to save gas. The short trip to daycare/school kills my diesel's fuel mileage.
  2. Great pics!! Love the last one. A lot of inspiration in the mega thread lol.
  3. Emissions? What are these things? As a slave to the gauge in cars and boats, I will be replacing all with new accurate gauges. Hope you get it all sorted.
  4. Woohoo!! Way to be fairly hilarious going down the track lol. Great run!
  5. hey, glad business is still alive. You guys have a shop in Killeen? I live not far from the addy you have listed. Always fun to meet other Z guys. Take care! oh, still doing rust repair, but will be in touch for a complete gauge set. Jay
  6. Hopefully if you go the painless route, you can update My poor poor car is in need of electrical love. The PO actually wired in the taillights with a piece of extension cord (the brown two wire type) and wire nuts...WIRE NUTS!!! I havent seen those since I pulled the light switch cover of in my house.
  7. that is AWESOME!! Thanks for some motivation. Love your car!
  8. Looks good! I have every intention of covering all the chrome on my car as well. But I am going with orange paint, so no true...murder... to be spoken of.
  9. My wife's very first statement upon bringing the Z home: "Do real people fit into that thing?" I chuckled heartily.
  10. Goodness gracious I love me some orange Z Cannot wait to get paint on mine.
  11. Shaved some paint off the roof.. literally shaved. Broke out a razor blade and started working on it. Took it all the way to the metal in some spots Need some argon to get to metal repair.
  12. if you were to make stamped steel flares with no bolt holes, specifically for the weld in guys, I would rather that than fiberglass bolted in.
  13. and typing too. Sorry about the "is because" up there lol. Oh, and those are load range E. I am sure their d rating stuff is just as good.
  14. I have had good luck with the cooper on/offroad setup. I want to say ATP maybe? Anyhow, fairly quiet on the highway, good grip wet, dry and offroad. Wear is pretty good. At 20k now with them and only my drive tire needs replacing soon. That is because is because I suck at rotating schedules.
  15. Congrats on the project. Good luck with it all and more importantly, have fun!
  16. I also find reading other peoples builds VERY motivating. that and watching youtube videos.
  17. I have always wanted to use that smiley, but every seems to beat me to it. Bring on the pics! Sounds like a fun build for sure. Drove an E46 M3 not long ago for the first time, and it was a very fun car to drive even in convertible trim. That engine in an S30 would be amazing.
  18. I H8T super amounts of negative camber. Mad dorifto super sexy camba! What a silly fad...
  19. those look really good to me. Its a tough spot to fill since it is so shallow. Were it deeper and steeper angles it would be easy to fill. How are you attaching this?? I was planning on welding in a piece on my headlight bucket, but since one is fiberglass, this would be a better route lol.
