  1. Cody, Looks good, I bought the same kit from JSK but havent ordered the other stuff, Do you have a parts list? I have to wait till after christmas till I can spend anymore money on the Z.
  2. MSA has kits for the 88 Z31. http://www.zcarparts.com/
  3. Sorry, I'll vote for Bush! Id rather have a man in office that has some balls! even if he made a wrong decision or two! then have a yellow belly traitor running our country. Oh yea, Im old enough to remember that yellow belly traitor flapping his gums on tv selling out his fellow soldiers, I also remember seeing that same slime bucket spouting his lies at the same rally that Jane Fonda was spouting her anti-American bullcrap
  4. Oh so its not ok for us to kill Iraq's that are intent on Jihad against any non muslim, but especially Americans! but it is ok for Saddam to kill his own people that don't agree with him, don't believe in his flavor of religon, or are a slightly different ethnic background, or because they were born female?
  5. LOL, yea I remember that show, there were a lot of good shows back then.
  6. Mike, Scottie, I would be interested in this manifold but my concern is the T4 mount for the turbo would have to sit lower than the stock turbo manifold so my Camden supercharger intake will fit.
  7. Does anyone know what the size of the fuel hose and return hose is that connects to the sending unit. thanks John
  8. Ok, I've bought a Camden supercharger for my 83 280zx L28, I am trying to build this as a balls to the wall street/track daily driver! If such a thing is possable. I've got a new crank pulley being designed to fit the 77/78 dampner which is what the supercharger was designed for originally. But I've run into a conundrum. Problem #1. The supercharger pulley mounts to the dampner, Replacing the power steering pulley. I want my power steering.. Problem #2. I also have a dry sump oil pan and would if possable like to use it. BUT from what i've seen so far the crank pulley needs to be a cog type pulley rather than a stock V belt or even a ribbed serpentine belt. There may be a V belt pully option from Weaver but I haven't called them yet.. Problem #3. If I use the dry sump pump it mounts where the Air conditioning compressor mounts. Ugh,,, No air in Florida! wouldn't be a daily driver for long I want all my comforts and my go faster toys!!! So put your thinking caps on and start sending in the ideas..
  9. shucks I was pissed all day yesterday cause I couldn't even get to this site. Don't know what happened but I tried through out the day but the browser kept timing out. I was starting to have withdrawls.. You guys can't do that to me! Im old and gotta have my fixes... So some young wantabe decided to challange the gods of Mount Hybridz and found out what that lightening bolt is all about some people never learn!
  10. Rodney, I received my harness yesterday in the mail. Nice work, Good documentation. Guys this harness wire set is excellent. Everything marked, with documentation letting you know what size wire for what along with color code. Even lets you know which wire is or is not going to the relay board.
  11. Nice drawing Dilop, the front of the hood looks to drop down to much but I like the front spoiler.
  12. James, if you do decide to build a few more count me in. I should have kept the one I did buy, but since I had planned on doing the supercharger I didn't think I would need it so I sold it. Now another Z is on the horizon and that intake would have been nice. John
  13. I was watching Spike Tv last weekend some time and they had a segment on this car. Reminded me of a modern day version of the Love Bug! very weird.
  14. LOL, she used the oldest trick in the book to hook this guy.
  15. Does the bitching betty still work in your 83 zx? I know that some of the BB functions run through the stereo to the center dash speaker. You could either run a seperate wire or wire up a seperate speaker for it. You would have to look in the haynes manual for the diagram.
  16. I agree that the front part of the arizona kit shown above is boring, but then again most of the front panels on the old Datsun racing Z's were very similar.
  17. Kaminari does not make a wide body kit for the 81-83 zx anymore, their molds burned up in a fire some years ago.
  18. Personally, Nope to ricy for my taste. The Aerokit II from Motorsport Auto is about as radical as I will go on my 280zx. The only reason I like that kit is it does away with the stock bumper and gets rid of those ugly bumper protrusions.
  19. Thanks for the link, making the harness is the last step I needed for my 280zx, This will cut down my time greatly.
  20. Did a search but came up empty, Does anyone know what the hard fuel line size is that runs from the tank to the engine bay? Inner diameter/Outer diameter? for a 280zx Thanks John
  21. Yes, I know they are low impedance, I need to know what that number is? 2.4? 1.2?
